● The book of Job is about a normal human being
who is beset with suffering and misfortune
● James 5:11 Indeed we count them blessed
who endure. You have heard of the
perseverance of Job and seen the end intended
by the Lord--that the Lord is very
compassionate and merciful.

● First life-lesson:
“Naked I came from my mother's womb”
● All of us start with the same possessions
● Sign – I started with nothing. I still have most of
it.
● Everyone has the same starting point.
● Everything we have came from God.

“And naked shall I return there.”
● All of us leave this life with the same
possessions as when we started.
● Possessions end at the cemetery.
● Luke 12:20-21 20 But God said to him, 'Fool!
This night your soul will be required of you; then
whose will those things be which you have
provided?' 21 So is he who lays up treasure for
himself, and is not rich toward God."
