This parable from the Bible tells the story of a man who entrusted his wealth to three servants before going on a journey. The first two servants invested the money and doubled what they were given. The third servant, out of fear, hid the money he was given. When the man returned, the first two servants were rewarded for their work, while the third lazy servant was punished for not putting the money to use. The parable teaches that God has entrusted believers with responsibilities and they should make the most of the opportunities and abilities given to them to serve God, not act out of fear or be lazy.
