Today we will learn about materials that
float and what materials sink in the water.
Are you ready to listen?
First we have to define sink and float.
Sink- means to fall to the bottom of
water
Float- means to stay on top of water.
Discussion
From the box there are different things
that float and sink. Like for example this
empty plastic bottle with cover. If I place
it in the water what do you think will
happen? Will it float? Or sink?
