Specific Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
 Define bodabil as theatrical form.
 Sing selection from a chosen Philippine musical theater.

A. Routinary Activities:
- Class Prayer
- Greetings
- Checking of Attendance
- Classroom Reminders
 The teacher will instruct the learners about the rules to follow during the class.
- Ice Breaker: The boat is sinking.
- Review: The 59 Seconds Challenge
 Students who were out during the Ice Breaker Activity will be given printed
strips and they are going to paste their answer on the chart. Students will be
given 59 seconds to complete the task.

The class will be divided into two groups. Each groups will answer the following mystery word
quest. The first group to answer the quest correctly will be receiving a mystery incentive.

ABSTRACTION:
The teacher will discuss the following topic through a short video presentation and
PowerPoint Presentation:
 Bodabil - a stage presentation featuring various forms: musical, comedy and even
magic acts, skits, monologues and acrobatics, among others.

 Evolution of Bodabil


APPLICATION: Musical Skit Contextualization
The teacher will let each group to collaborate as one and they are going to perform a
short musical skit. The concept of the skit is “The Life of a Student”.
(A skit is a short performance in which the actors make fun of people, events, and types of
literature by imitating them.)

SUBJECT MATTER: Topic: : Theatrical Forms: Bodabil Reference : Music 7 Quarter 4 Learner’s Module (Module 8) Materials : PowerPoint Presentation, Laptop, Speaker, Chalkboard, Chalk, Chart and Strips Modality : On-site III. Routinary Activities: - Class Prayer - Greetings - Checking of Attendance - Classroom Reminders  The teacher will instruct the learners about the rules to follow during the class. - Ice Breaker: The boat is sinking. - Review: The 59 Seconds Challenge  Students who were out during the Ice Breaker Activity will be given printed strips and they are going to paste their answer on the chart.
