Singular - ⲟⲩ-
ⲟⲩϫⲟⲓ - a ship

3. The Indefinite Article
The indefinite article is used in undetermined nouns.
Plural - Ϩⲉⲛ-
Ϩⲉⲛⲉϫⲏⲩ - some ships

4. The Indefinite Article
If the indefinite article is preceded by the vowels e or a (e. g. the preposition
e- to, towards), it will form a diphthong with this vowel
ⲉ- + ⲟⲩϫⲟⲓ “to a ship” > ⲉⲩϫⲟⲓ

5. Negative Adverbial Sentences
Adverbial sentences can be negated using discontinuous negation
ⲛ̅ … ⲁⲛ
ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲥϨⲓⲙⲉ Ϩⲓ ⲧⲉϨⲩ ⲁⲛ
