Focus
When using the natural resources, we should not to think of
the short-term benefits we can get while neglecting the harm and
destruction we are doing the environment; rather , we should
think in terms of “sustainability” that is making use of the Earth’s
natural resources, at the same time maintaining and preserving
the ecological balance of the planet for the benefit of the next
generations.
We see how man has caused destruction and poor health to
people due to pollution in air, land, and water.
Pollution is the action or process of making land, water, air,
etc. dirty and not safe or suitable to use. How can we eliminate
this?
Environment refers to the conditions and influences that
affect the growth, health, progress of someone or something.
In caring for the environment, remember this always:
• The Earth is God’s gift to us, His people. We
should conserve it and preserve it through
proper use of our natural resources.
• A clean and healthy environment can only be
maintained if we exert our effort in keeping
it.
• Let us protect and conserve our Mother
Earth.
