This document discusses several educational demonstrations using LEGO robots, BlueMix cloud services, and statechart modeling: 1. A LEGO EV3 robot arm is controlled over MQTT using bridge software and its video stream is monitored, to provide experience with real actuators. 2. The Yakindu statechart tool is integrated via REST to teach high-level modeling, with HOW-TO documentation provided. 3. Node-RED is used to connect message queues and services like Watson on BlueMix to teach service integration, with an MQTT audio app and Watson use cases developed.
