This document discusses the importance of humility and accepting oneself as God created them to be. It notes that while people differ in their passions and desires, God made each person uniquely. It encourages finding identity in being a child of God rather than allowing others to define who you are. The author prays for a spirit of humility to accept themselves and let go of trying to conform to others' expectations.
“God wants us to look like our Spiritual father. He is tired of us looking like our natural fathers. He wants us to talk like Him, walk like Him, and think like Him.”

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

2. Life is a wonderful thing. I cannot imagine life without my Savior, My King, My Father. There are so many different people in this life. People who smoke and drink. People who sleep around. People who scoff at those who do. People who marry. People who stay single. People who dance.People who sing. People who do not do anything.
3. Why do I try and conform to that which I am not? Why do I think that others want me to be something I am not? The truth is others might want you to be something you are not because that is what they are. Often we try and conform others to have OUR passions and OUR desires. But God in His infinite majestic detailed ways (He knows the number to all the hairs on your head Luke 12:7) has created each one of us different - for a different purpose, place, position, people.
4. I think about the snow. Each snowflake is different; no two are alike. God is not a God of favoritism but of love. I find myself wondering - where did I go wrong - how can I be better? All because I am different and do not desire for others to think I'm wrong. Boiling down to the simple fact that I do not have their passion, I am not them.
6. For too long I have allowed people to control who I am. I, not them, allowed it to happen. So - Who am I?
7. I am a child of the King; I am a daughter of the Most High God!We all have our differences and our faults. But, God, He looks at the heart. So, when some come against you - know it is truly Him - our Father who knows the truth. He knows our heart.
8. Father - I pray for a spirit of humility to clothe your children. Humility in the fact that we cannot do this in our own strength. Humility to be ourselves. Humility to accept all you have created us to be. Humility to let go of those whom you have called to be in our lives for a short time. Humility to keep those who belong. Humility to take our place. Humility to run OUR race (Heb 12:1). Humility to carry on regardless of what others think.
