LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A learning management system (LMS) is a software application for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of educational courses or training programs. They help the instructor deliver material to the students and other assignments, track student progress, and manage record-keeping. LMSs are focused on online learning delivery but support a range of uses, acting as a platform for fully online courses, as well as several hybrid forms, such as blended learning and flipped classrooms. LMSs can be complemented by learning technologies such as a training management system to manage instructor-led training or a Learning Record Store to store and track learning data.
HRs and Teachers working in the Nostrum Oil & Gas company were experiencing problems in the process of the employees' training. There was a critical need for education process automation, creation of a platform for storing learning materials and giving all the employees with Azure credentials access at any time.
The final product developed by *instinctools provides staff members of the client's company with a single point of access to all educational materials. It allows Teachers and the HR Department to create courses, organize and store educational materials, as well as manage the process of learning.
The system provides Learners with remote access to the courses.
Unlike the current educational process, the final product generates reports required to comply with the state government.

This document provides guidance on starting e-learning in a company without needing to develop custom content. It recommends e-learning be considered if the company has more than 50 employees, attrition over 10%, a geographically dispersed workforce, or customer-facing employees. E-learning can increase reach, speed, and effectiveness of learning while lowering costs. The document advises starting with conceptual, procedural, immediate, and repetitive topics like inductions and compliance training. Common mistakes to avoid include focusing on converting classroom to e-learning rather than just-in-time learning, creating overly complex multimedia modules that are hard to update, and buying an LMS with unnecessary features.
The document discusses the advantages of an electronic attendance (E-Attendance) module over a manual system. E-Attendance allows teachers to record attendance anytime through SMS and automatically calculates totals. It also enables administrators to view attendance summaries and identify patterns of absenteeism. The system works by having students and staff scan ID cards upon arrival and departure. Hardware requirements include computers, ID card readers, and a controller box to manage the readers. Potential issues and their solutions are also addressed, such as unstable power supply, lost cards, and slow reader speeds. Cost estimates are provided for both software and hardware.
The document outlines functional requirements for a content management system to house online training modules. It must allow for multiple content templates, with each module containing an intro and rich media content. Registered users will receive weekly emails with links to new modules and their progress will be tracked. The document discusses parallel circuits and their characteristics. Some key points include:
- In a parallel circuit, the voltage is the same across each branch while the total current is the sum of the individual branch currents.
- The equivalent resistance of a parallel circuit is less than the smallest branch resistance.
- Kirchhoff's Current Law states that the total current in the main line of a parallel circuit equals the sum of the branch currents.
- The total power dissipated in a parallel circuit equals the sum of the power dissipated in each branch.

14. Conclusion
Most LMS (learning management systems) are 4-7
years recent (learning management was the very 1st
talent management category created) and our analysis
shows that 61 of firms plan on exchange their learning
platforms within the next 18 months, the most often
cited product to get replaced.
LMS systems nowadays are quite different from
platforms only some years ago. Today’s LMS is a web
course catalog, an expert management system, a
collaboration and information sharing platform, and a
content and talent management system. All this
practicality has been integrated into the LMS, leaving
firms with older products anxious to upgrade.
