#RakhiwithToyKraft was an online & offline campaign to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with it's fans and followers. It was a Facebook contest along with a Rakhi making workshop at Hamley's India.
2. This Raksha Bandhan, we wanted to create a campaign for our patrons on Facebook, to cherish the
wonderful brother sister bond and also to showcase the product line which is worth gifting the
sisters! The whole excitement about the contest was that you can actually select your own gifts by
sharing the names of products on Facebook and tell us why you deserve them as a sister/ why your
sisters deserve those gifts.
#RakhiwithToyKraft contest started off by creating a simple yet amazing and wonderful contest for
the people on ToyKraft’s Facebook page. As decided, lucky winners would be gifted three of their
favorite gifts and the total prizes to be won were worth INR 5000.
The contest was launched on July 30th , all the way till Aug 6th, with the winners name being declared
on Aug 7th .
On July 30th, cover photo was updated to announce the upcoming contest on Facebook page named
#RakhiwithToyKraft.

4. The first thing we did on the page was change the cover photo to a more interesting one,
announcing the oncoming contest.
As the contest was set to begin from 30th of July, we updated the cover photo on the same day itself.
Sooner it created a stir among our fans on the page and what we noticed was the increase in the
excitement level in the prospective participants to participate in the contest and for the instructions
for the contest to be put up!
Soon after, the application image stating the instructions on ToyKraft’s Facebook page was also
updated.

7. #RakhiwithToyKraft contest merely asked its participants to visit a particular link, choose three of
their favorite gifts from the collection, share the products name on Facebook and if you are a
brother, then tell us why your sister deserves it and if you are sister, then tell us why you deserve it.
The most important thing that struck us in the midst of this campaign was the different response and
the innocent and adorable reasons of deserving the prize. Three days later, on 4th Aug, we put up a
new post to encourage the participation and making this Rakshabandhan a memorable one.

8. To celebrate this festive season we took our campaign offline and conducted a workshop on paper
quilling art with children at Hamley’s India at Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Pune on 2nd and 3rd August
and instructed them to make their own Wristbands and Rakhis and thus generated a positive result.
This helped us in engaging people with our product.

11. This RakshaBandhan, we asked all the beautiful sisters to surprise their brother by a special rakhi
made by themselves and this can be made by buying Toykraft’s Paper Quilled Wrist Bands kit from
Flipkart.
We also probed our participants to share the picture of rakhi they created and the first 50 entries will
stand a chance to win gift vouchers for the next purchase of Toykraft product on Flipkart.

13. By Aug 5th, wonderful responses were pouring in, so we decided to create a collage of most of the
amazing entries received till then, thanking them for the same. We also, in the same post, asked for
more participation.

14. Come Aug 6th, we posted the reminder picture about the last day of the contest and asked the
participants to hurry and grab their favorite products by participating in the contest and rejoice the
moment.

16. Things become more precious when our loved ones put some extra effort to make it.
So, we posted a “Do It Yourself” picture for our fans to create this beautiful rakhi to tie it on their
brother’s wrists.

18. Next day, we thanked all for their lovely participation and posted a collage of most of the marvelous
entries. We also, in the same post, asked them to keep following us to know about the winners.

connect with our audience and continue the celebration of Raksha Bandhan even after ending
