Issues between the Global North and Global South have been an issue in international human rights practice. This presentation is a section that I prepared based on a paper I wrote for Professional Responsibility: Lawyers and Justice while I was a law student. The presentation was a team project. I opened with the global north/south divide as it relates to human rights law clinics. My teammates then when on to discuss various immigration ethics points in the US legal system. This presentation is an excerpt of the overall presentation. It was presented as a lesson plan.

FUNDAMENTALS OF ACCOUNTANCY, BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT 1.pptxRoseBantiyan
HISTORY OF ACCOUNTING Accounting started as a simple recording of repetitive exchanges. The history of accounting is often seen as indistinguishable from the history of finance and business. It has evolved in response to various social and economic needs of men over 5,000 years- its origins can be tracked back to the beginning of time.
This is a presentation I made for my Applied Economics class Grade 12-ABM. This discusses about the basic economic problems of the country.

Planning in the region starts with a vision about what we want to be. It is the aspiration of the Filipinos particularly those from SOCCSKSARGEN Region to have a long-term vision for the region and the country as a whole to become a prosperous, predominantly middle class society where no one is poor. The challenge is how every Filipino can afford to have a “matatag, maginhawa at panatag na buhay by 2040.”
The information network created by Sir Tim Berners-Lee in 1990 to connect people to knowledge has become an important place to navigate who and what we know, as well as who we think we are. But how much of a revolution is it? This lecture will trace some of the most important developments in social uses of information technologies in order to ultimately argue that the Web does offer unprecedented opportunities to access information and galvanise communities of practice, but that the impact of this new medium will reflect an evolution rather than a revolution of communication practices.

An Exploration of Two Prospective Careers
Researching prospective career options isn't just a useful way to learn about various careers, it's
also a great way to learn about one's self and to determine one's strengths and weaknesses in pursuits of a
long term investment in the job stratosphere. There are many career guidance applications available that
measure individual’s personalities, skill aptitudes and weaknesses and interests, in order to pair individuals
with careers suited to one's basic personality type. The two careers that I've chosen to explore fit with in
my basic personality type indicator. These careers are photography and cultural anthropology. According
the Holland Code's aptitude assessment, I'm strongly suited for artistic, investigative, realistic and social
endeavors. I'm least suited for conventional jobs (i.e. office jobs, retail, investment banking, etc…). I used
the career code assessment as a tool to determine which professional careers I wanted to explore.
Becoming a professional photographer has interested me since I was a child. Photographers mix
art and science to create emotional images. Photography is an extremely competitive and ever-changing
field. The rapid advancements of photographic technology demand that professional photographers learn
the new technologies and find ways to make their work stand out from the rest. Photography education
is available from workshops to degree programs. Many colleges, universities and vocation schools offer
two- and four-year photography degrees. Many photographers continue training by assisting other
photographers. Becoming a photography assistant can reinforce and further technical training as well
provide an opportunity to learn the business aspect of the profession.
The United States Bureau of Labor and Statistics warns that falling prices of professional
photography equipment and the popularity of the medium has increased the competition dramatically.
Many companies purchase less expensive images from amateur photographers or opt to make their own
images for advertising. News photography is also affected by amateur shutterbugs. The rise of amateur
street photography and non-copyright images means that news publications that still exist, don’t have to
pay for images if they don’t want to. The estimated median income of photographers as of May 2008 is
$29,440. It seems that this number will go down as digital camera prices fall and magazines become obsolete.
On the other hand, anthropologists are expected to be in demand in the coming years and the
average earnings are much higher than photographers’ wages. Anthropology is a social science that
studies the origins, behavior and brain of humans. Cultural anthropologists are interested in customs and
cultures of people. People in this field spend years studying groups of people, collecting data and writing
the findings to ...

Q: What do you think is the purpose of a legal clinic?
To give practical experiences
To give students the opportunity to practice their lawyering skills
experience and an exposure to different perspectives
To get real-world legal experience students are unable to get in a classroom.
The purpose of legal clinic is to let students have hands-on experience on their required topic.
To gain real-life experience in the legal field and understand the type of work that lawyers do,
firsthand (especially since law school is very academic and oftentimes disconnected from the
realities of the law practice).
Get substantial legal experience while helping those who can't afford legal services
To get real world experience
To learn practical skills
To learn, and to reflect upon, the skills and judgment needed to practice law.
To expose students to the actual practice of law in different areas while in law school
To gain skills that will help me in practice and to help serve a community in need of legal
services/advice.
To get exposure to a specific field of law and learn what everyday activities those lawyers do.
To provide hands-on legal experience to balance out the theoretical/impractical nature of the
