Description:
The Launcelot Way Outfall Restoration Project was substantially completed on May 18, 2018. The project
consisted of the restoration of 90 linear feet of eroded channel located in a Resource Protection Area. The
goals of the project were to address public safety concerns, stabilize a deeply eroded channel by using
natural stream design techniques, and provide enhanced water quality.
Project Overview:
• Restore the outfall channel with imbricated stone step pools and reinforced bed mix riffle sections
• Stabilize channel banks using coir matting and native vegetation
• Revegetate disturbed areas with native plants, trees, and shrubs to promote reforestation
