2017/2018 Launch of the Youth in Philanthropy Program in Kenora, Ontario. The program is led by the Kenora and Lake of the Woods Regional Community Foundation and for this year, is sponsored by Copperfin Credit Union.
This is my slideshow from my Forester Lecture held on 9.22.11 at Huntington University.
I was asked to share a bit about my professional and personal journey over the past few years as well as present on the rise in social entrepreneurship.
I presented ideas on why I think that it's never been easier to start a movement and do something significant. Communication technology is removing tremendous barriers and making an organizations reach much further.
My hope was to challenge the students at HU that they can make the ideas in their minds happen and the environment at HU is setup to help them succeed if only they tapped into the resources there.

Bishop Wayne T Jackson - United Way Provides Fundraising Assistance For Tular...Bishop Wayne T Jackson
The United way assists charities from all over the country with procuring the funding they require to keep their doors open and continue their mission. No where is the work of the United Way more practically demonstrated that in Tulare County, California.
According to a recent article in the Visalia Times-Delta, the United Way supports 20 of the 126 charities currently at work in Tulare County. Located in southern California near Sequoia National Park, Tulare County is a largely agricultural area with a relatively low population. Because of this, there is a great deal of competition between non-profits for the community’s donation dollars.
I was responsible for the conceptual development, photo art direction, and design of Bancroft’s 2011 Annual Report. A family theme was chosen because it conveys a sense of belonging and trust, and our audience is family members of people we support.
