LANGUAGE SKILLS
There are four basic language skills:
 Listening

 Speaking

 Reading

 Writing

All of them are related to each other. We will discuss
  speaking skills today.
SPEAKING SKILLS
IMPORTANCE OF SPEAKING SKILLS
 If you’re a good communicator, you’ll have better
chances of success. You’re able to persuade
people, influence others, negotiate effectively and
  provide valuable feedback.
 Communication is needed for conveying ideas in a
better way to your boss, in job interviews and many
  more places.
The importance of communication skills cannot be
  understated.
SPEAKING SITUATIONS

There are three kinds of speaking situations:

 Interactive,

 partially interactive, and

 non-interactive.

We are concerned about partially interactive skills.
MAIN POINTS FOR GOOD SPEAKING SKILLS
 Research a topic.
 Connect with the audience.
 Don't be a time hog.
 Act and speak ethically- be confident.
 Be aware of your body-body language is important.
 Encourage feedback and utilize it.
Note:

All languages are equally important. Even though we all
might be liking English or Hindi more, our regional
languages like Marathi, Tamil, Mewati, Guajarati etc.
should not be forgotten.
CONCLUSION

 Karmanye vadhikaraste ma
    phaleshu kadachna.

English translation- Be sincere to your work, do not
think about what you’ll get for it.
                (applies for exams too)
Thank You
