it's a poem describing the sun's view of lalbagh botanical garden i performed the first paragraph standing on the middle level (a chair), the second paragraph standing on a higher level (a table), the third paragraph standing on the middle level again and the fourth paragraph standing on the floor in class.

1. I am the sun.
I am welcomed by the early morning chirping of the birds.
I see the flowers straightening up n soaking in my light.
I think I can spot an old dog under that tree,
opening his eyes ever so slowly and staring at me.
the morning joggers wait till I rise and yet want to jog in the shade,
I don't understand them.
seeing all these humdrum affairs of life fills me with happiness,
which overflows from my core.
their warmth touches me and I feel myself become more radiant to express myself.
but I guess that’s why I don't see many people after their so called “breakfast time”.
I shine my brightest when I hear the school bell ring for lunch.
either the grass is being mowed, the colourful flowers being watered,
the birds resting in their nests or the security guard yawning after enjoying his
sambar rice.
it is so soothing to see everything n everyone at ease with themselves.
do you know of my sky companions, the ever so notorious clouds?
they love playing hide n seek with me and seeing you enjoy the breeze.
these rascals really know how to keep everyone entertained.
the trees sway to its direction,
the leaves fall rustling on the green grass and the hot benches,
the ducks go fluttering n quacking in the vast lake,
a lot of people seem to be coming in after fighting with auto walas.
it’s nice to see the lazy chaat, corn n ice cream sellers finally get to work.
feeling privileged is an understatement to be able to witness this beauty in a place as
busy and fast as Bangalore city.
the moment I begin my descent,
I try to observe every little thing happening because I know I won’t feel this joy for
the rest of the evening and the night that follows.
the great great grandpa trees and the youth make me smile,
I'd watch the kids chasing the butterflies and couples holding hands, clicking
pictures n just being with each other filling me with romance,
joggers always leave me perplexed
and the family outings are just beyond overwhelming.
when I am not far from going to the other side,
the branches bid their farewell,
the birds rush straight home in beautiful patterns,
the lake awaits my last reflections
and finally I hear the security guard whistling at the public
to head towards the exit gates of the forever blossoming Lalbagh Botanical Garden.
