Lab 5: Applying Emerging Technologies
The purpose of this lab is to allow you to report, in the form of a presentation, how a company uses
emerging technologies. You will need to choose a company to use for this presentation.
** Special note: Please be aware of the University Policy on Internet Use. This is particularly
important for this class. You MUST NOT violate this policy whilst researching for this class.
Activities
Using the company that you have chosen, create a presentation, using Slideshare, Google
Presentations, etc. that outlines general information about your company and how you found
that they are using emerging technologies within their company. E-mail this presentation to
your tutor.
Give a detailed overview. If your organisation does not use many emerging technologies,
present on ways that you believe they could, by drawing on the type of company and what
you have learned in this class.
Your presentation should be at least 20 slides and contain a variety of media such as images,
video link, etc.
