• Research your choices – read the information and watch the videos on the
Online Subject Selection site
• Talk to parents, teachers and mentors.
• Access the online form via your email.
• Submit your form by 28 July 2023 (end of Week 2 T3)
• Print or forward your confirmation email to your parents (they will be sent
a form to sign and confirm they agree with your choices)

• To access the Online Selection form you will need your
unique webcode.
• This will be sent to you in an email by the end of Week 9 of
Term 2.
5. Once you click on the link, enter the code in the email in
the space provided.
You may already be logged in due to sport selections.
If you are logged in and are directed straight to a
dashboard, you will need to log out at the top right-
hand corner, and you will return to this screen.
Then enter the code.

6. Once logged in, you will be prompted to select your form.

7. There are two study pattern options in 2024/5, as detailed in Mr Dyer’s
presentation. Select the option that best fits your learning. You can
press back if you click the wrong option.

8. SUBJECT SELECTION PROCESS
Once logged in, make sure you read the notes on the right-hand side of the
screen.
Use the first drop-down menu to select the English course you wish to study.
You must then select at least another 5 subjects and have a total of 12 or 13
units.
If you are an accelerated Maths student, make sure you select the
accelerated maths option.
11. EMAIL CONFIRMATION
• You will receive an email confirming your choices. This must be
printed or forwarded to your parents for approval.
• You can log in and change your selections as many times as you like
before the deadline. Remember to get the confirmation email sent
each time.
• You cannot make changes after Friday, 28 July.
12. SUBJECT SELECTION PROCESS
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that students are able to undertake the
study of their selected courses, KWS cannot guarantee that every course will
run or that every possible combination of subjects can be timetabled in 2023.
For this reason, you must select a reserve subject.
If your first choice is not possible, Mr Dyer will contact you to discuss options
before assigning your reserve subject.
14. WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS
THE DEADLINE?
• If you do not submit your subject choices by 28 July, you need to meet
with Mr Dyer. His email is tdyer@kws.nsw.edu.au
• Mr Dyer can then submit your choices.
• However, subject lines are drawn up based on the initial selections, and
some subjects may have no places available for late applicants.
