The Manhattan real estate market saw slight price increases overall in the 1st quarter of 2015 compared to the same period last year. When broken down by size, prices increased slightly for studios and 1-bedrooms but declined slightly for 2-bedrooms and larger units. Condo prices pulled back slightly while co-op prices continued a steady rise. Transaction volumes increased across condos and co-ops, with the price differential between the two narrowing. By neighborhood, Midtown studios and 1-bedrooms continued to provide the highest returns on investment.
