What is KooBits Challenge?
The KooBits Challenge is a nation-wide online learning contest originated
from Singapore. 1 in 6 Singaporean children are currently taking part in the
KooBits Challenge 2014.
www.koobits.com/ph
What is KooBits Challenge?
KooBits Challenge’s game dynamics make it highly engaging and motivating
to children. It uses the latest technology to design personalized, daily
learning activities to help your child develop effective study habits, acquire
problem-solving skills and life skills to build a broad and deep foundation.
www.koobits.com/ph
Our Core Beliefs
(Our guiding principles in designing the KooBits Challenge)
• Every child is unique. Every child has different interests and
strengths. Each child will therefore succeed in different ways.
• Every child can learn, whatever his starting point.
• We must put values and character development at the core of
our education system. Character cannot be made except by a
steady, long-continued process.
www.koobits.com/ph
Program Mission:
Developing Good Study Habits
Successful students have good study habits. They plan specific time for study, set
specific goals, ask right questions and get organized. It’s through these habits that
successful students build deep foundation and acquire valuable knowledge and
skills.
However, good habits are hard to come by. Most students let habit form on its own,
and often fall victim to common bad habits such as last minute cramming,
procrastinating, studying without a plan and so on.
To address this problem, we designed the KooBits Challenge and set its core
mission as to help students develop good study habits. KooBits Challenge
engages students to perform a set of daily routines, help them set targets and
rewards. The length of the challenge is also carefully designed to make the new
habits stick and sink in.
www.koobits.com/ph
We are what we repeatedly do
“We are what we repeatedly do.
Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a
habit.”
~ Aristotle
www.koobits.com/ph
The Power of Habits
“Champions don’t do extraordinary things. They do ordinary things,
but they do them without thinking, too fast for the other team to
react. They follow the habits they’ve learned.”
~ Charles Duhigg, The Power of Habit
www.koobits.com/ph
How is KooBits Challenge different?

that have no clear-cut solutions

www.koobits.com/ph
How is the KooBits Challenge different?
In short, KooBits Challenge is focused on the process, the

what they get for it, but what they become by
it.”
www.koobits.com/ph

Read what participants have to say
“KooBits tackled the most difficult part of a
child's learning journey - motivation. By letting a
child to compete for top honour, my daughter is
very motivated to become the highest scorer
and actually was learning along the way without
knowing that she was actually learning. She
plays and learns. It is great!”

Most students let habit form on its own, and often fall victim to common bad habits such as last minute cramming, procrastinating, studying without a plan and so on.
