This sermon discusses the importance of having knowledge of God through His Son and calls it the "Knowledge Test". It addresses 5 questions related to identifying the attributes and name of God and His Son. Having this knowledge leads to salvation, while lacking it results in perishing. The sermon explains the answers to the 5 questions by referencing several Bible passages and aims to impart spiritual wisdom and sobriety around comprehending the Gospel.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Sermon: KNOWLEDGE TEST
2.
3.
4. - The Knowledge check!
- It is a Knowledge of the Son Of God not some secular knowledge which is foolish and
nonsense.
- (Proverbs 30:1-) these words of Agur the son of Jakeh are not a mere prophesy but the
prophesy, the audience [Bible Patterns] being Ithel and Ucal.
- What is the prophesy? It is 1 Peter 1:9-12. (verse 10,12) the ‘us’ is not referring to everyone
but a certain particular and specific persons (Ithel and Ucal). (verse 12) even the angels, might
as they are, do not understand the Gospel.
- Agur cannot prophesy, only the Spirit can prophesy. The prophets are not the originator of the
prophesy but the Pneuma/Spirit (2 Peter 1:21).
- Proverbs 30:1 juxtaposed with 2 Peter 1:21 – the prophesy.
- The prophesy also in (Luke 24:25-)
- Ithel and Ucal are representative of Jewish and Gentile Believers respectively.
- Ithel is also representative of the True Spiritual Israel (Romans 9:1-6, Romans 2:27-29), Paulos
himself being a Benjamite, naturally of Israel.
- The bulk of Spiritual Israel are of the Gentiles.
- (John 10) – entering into the sheep pan is a show that He calleth only his own and some will
remain in the pan then the gentiles are incorporated in (verse 16).
- It is a requirement for every Jew to be circumcised, it is even a spiritual requirement to be
circumcised inwardly (Romans 2:27-29).
- (Galatians 3:26-29) being in Christ, you will never identify gender (women can preach ooh!),
neither being Jewish or Gentiles because it is not a physical affair but a spiritual affair of which
the spirit is asexual. The reason why people see gender is, they don’t have Christ as their attire
(verse 27).
- Sheep are highly identical such that in the physical, people mark their own sheep for
identification. [insert marked sheep]
- [Proverbs 30] – (verse 2) the brutish means foolish and thinking like a beast, this is the state
of man before he passes the knowledge check. He is a fool because he learnt not wisdom and
the knowledge of the holy (the prefixing holy make ‘the holy’ a noun, a person), so it is the
knowledge of Christos.
- The reason of the prophesy, the end of this prophesy is acquiring Salvation.
- Ignorance of this knowledge leads to perishing (Hosea 4:6).
5. - Juxtaposing John 3:16 and Hosea 4:6 shows that believing is knowing the knowledge of the
Holy/the Begotten Son.
- The eternal life is acquisition of the knowledge of the Holy (John 17:1-3).
- Knowledge of the Holy is knowledge of God and the one He sent.
- (Job 36:9-12) acquisition of the knowledge of the Holy.
- (1 Corinthians 1:20-) considering the Knowledge of the Holy, the knowledge of this world is
foolishness.
- The moment we do away with spiritual identity and begin to consider physical things, we will
be found wanting as Gentiles and chased away from the congregation (Church) of God.
- The foolishness of the Gospel refers to how the world concludes as the Gospel is declared.
- (James 1:4-5) how wisdom is acquired if in lack, ask!
- (Acts 26:22-23) and (Mark 16:15-16) the declaration of the Gospel.
6. - The five questions in the Knowledge check?
1. Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended?
2. Who hath gathered the wind in his fists?
3. Who hath bound the waters in a garment?
4. Who hath established all the ends of the earth?
5. What is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?
7. - What is the need of knowing how to answer these Questions, so as to exhibit the knowledge
of the Holy.
1. Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended?
-(Ephesians 4:7-10) is an interpretation of (Psalms 68:18) yet an answer to Question 1.
- As David was prophesying in the above stated Psalm, no one knew the subject of the Psalm,
no one could tell who was being referred to.
- [1 Peter 3:17-20], (verse 9) entails that the Lord descended into hades with his body, ‘By
which’.
- (Galatians 4:20-22) Abraham is also counted as being part of the law because to know of
Abraham, we have to hear and read from the law.
- There is more to the name of the one who ascended or descended not just to say Christ
(Philippians 2:10-11).
- The first question is necessary to identify how the ministers where sent.
2. Who hath gathered the wind in his fists?
-Wind is also representive of the dimension of the operation of God which is Pneuma
Hagion/Holy Spirit.
- Wind is reference to spiritual Believers whose effect is felt but itself not seen (John 3:6-8).
- You cannot receive rain if there in no wind.
- It is the wind not winds and they are gathered in His fists not fist.
- Wind may also refer to doctrine (Ephesians 4:14).
- Another wind of doctrine being the message of the antichrist (1 John 4:1-3).
- How are spirits tested? By way of the Testimony (John 15:26), the trying of spirits is through
hearing. The testimony should be of the suffering of death and the reason of suffering being for
sin, any other reason is a heresy (John 16:12-13).
- The blowing of the wind is at His discretion because the wind is in His fists.
- (John 7:37-39) the release of the wind is after the Lord’s glorification.
- Not having the knowledge of the Holy means the ignorant fellow is a brute beast. (Jude 1:10)
juxtaposed with (2 Peter 2:12).
- The mystery of the Godhead is too great a mystery never to be exhausted – we know in part.
- This sermon calls for sobriety in how we attend to the Gospel of the Lord (Ecclesiastes 5:1-2).
8. - When the John series was being preached, the saints started to ask if they really know
anything?
