A Norwegian diplomat named Charung Gollar was asked to present the main problems in the world to the UN in 2004. He created a set of 8 pictures called "The Power of Stars" that depicted issues in Angola, Brazil, Burkina Faso, China, Colombia, Europe, Somalia, and the USA. Though simple, his graphic was well received and considered for a Nobel Prize for its effective political messaging.
