August 20, 2016
Gentlemen;
As an IT Contractor for over twenty years, I have worked in major corporations such as Texas
Department of Public Safety, The Hartford Insurance Group, GE Financial, AT&T, Unilever, UTC,
Lucent, Chase, CVS and the list goes on. My duties include SCCM Administrator, Project Manager,
Tier II Tech support, Team Lead, Systems Administrator, Q&A Application Testing, and Engineer.
Understanding the Customers’ needs (yes even taking care of the bathrooms issues), the IT environment
allows me to perform the requested tasks while under tight time constraints. I am well versed in both
management and technology in order to be effective in any organization.
Yes, I have worked for companies as a full time employee but due to economic conditions of
companies, the current times, and situations; they have not lasted as long as I have wished, so I press on.
Moving forward looking for stability and a place to call home. This position would draw on all the best
and worst in me as I have no Personal agendas; I act on the company’s best interest and that is to keep it
secure, keep cost down and protect the hard workers while training the next generation.
My many years of experience have taught me a great deal, being able to bring great successes
learned and poor decisions to the table allows me to be an asset anywhere I go. My recent experience
with Freescale, Washington County, The Texas Department of Public Safety, OCI Solar Power,
Nexolon America, The Capital Group, and The Hartford have proven to be invaluable.
Years ago a co-worker attempted to describe me, and he stated there should be a pane of glass in
front of me and says, “Break glass in case of emergency”. I am the person that gets the call when there is
a problem and gets the Impossible Missions. Superman, I am not, but the buck stops with me and I get
the job done.
Within my resume, you will see that I have listed most the software and operating systems I have
worked on. But under the specific positions it is not listed; because at many companies I have performed
the same tasks, using the same tools available to me, listing them creates redundancies and extreme
length that made my resume harder to follow and more difficult for the reader.
Thank you for reviewing my resume and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Kyle L. Medina
