Mr. Allah DadKhan gave a lecture on kiwi fruit physiological disorders to trainees. Hail damage results in shredded leaves, pitted fruit, and bruised canes putting future crops at risk. In severe cases, hail can completely defoliate vines and destroy entire crops. Frost damage depends on factors like severity, length of exposure, and time of year. Mild spring frosts can damage young shoots and buds or cause flowers to drop. Autumn frosts may lead to leaf drop and damaged fruit, while severe winter frosts can split dormant vines' trunks and shoots.
