 A ContentHotspot creates a secure content zone where premium
content can be procured by Mobile Users (Smart Phones/Tablets).
• A Content Zone is similar in behavior to a Wifi zone, but enhancing the
services with a content delivery platform.
• The User Experience:
• A Mobile user enters a ContentHotspot Zone, and the service on the mobile device
instantly recognizes the availability of a content zone, letting the user to browse the
available catalog and purchase the desired content item.
• The whole content procurement activity from the mobile device is offloaded to the
Content Zone, relieving any usage of expensive or sometimes unavailable 3G networks.
