Duties And Responsibilities:
 Ensuring that all defaulters of loans are accounted for.
 Responsible for the day to day maintenance of debtors Schedule
 Perform debtors account reconciliations and analyses to support the accuracy of the
general ledger and related sub-ledgers.
 Reduce the number of Members Accounts in Default as well as the value of debts due
from defaulters in the allocated portfolio.
 Co-ordinates and controls the application of accounting, credit control and debt collection
policies and procedures by attending to the verification, reporting, processing and
reconciliation of account receivable transactions to support analysis, identification and
recovery of overdue debts accounts, processing sequences of communicating
information to promote understanding and corporation from customers on payment for
services.
 Re-negotiating repayment plans if people are in financial difficulties
 Tracing missing debtors
 Arranging for goods to be repossessed to cover outstanding debt
 Setting up and maintaining customers files
 Using specialist computer databases to check credit records
 Contacting individuals or business customers when payment is overdue
 Asking them to settle their account and explaining the terms of their credit
 Liaising with solicitors, legal officers and debt counselors where necessary
