The issue of getting finances for the small businesses and entrepreneurs is always been in debate and remain unresolved in the developing countries due to unavailability of qualified venture capitalists. The developing and emerging economies set the micro finance banks for this purpose, however, it is argued that the owner and entrepreneur faces many problems like collaterals, documentation, etc. This research focuses on the role of financial banks in promoting the small business and entrepreneurial culture in the Saudi Arabia in providing credit. The research applied a mixed methodology and at the first stage, qualitative data is collected and then the results of these structured interviews were used to construct a survey
questionnaire for the quantitative analysis. The result of study shows that the levels of business cooperation and information sharing and quality of business have an important significance on the success of loan application. Furthermore, the results also support that the bureaucracy of bank in terms of loan documents requirement and loan evaluation procedure can make small business hesitate when applying for loans.

Spatial Identity Formation: How Urban Planning and Economics Are Forming Asian Urban Identities?
Dr. Ulas Basar Gezgin, PhD,
lecturer, economics

Abstract
Most of the Asian cities are characterized by a rapid shift from primary sector to secondary, tertiary and quaternary sectors. The economic development dictates the form of the city and the form of the city constrains or allows economic development which exhibits the bidirectional relationship between economic development and the form of the city. Unlike many European cities, high rise buildings are considered to be the symbol of ‘modernity’, ‘civilization’ and wealth in the Asian sphere. Thus signature buildings have had priority over other projects. The postcard images of Asian cities are changing by the introduction of high-rise buildings in the urban skylines. These rather than historic heritages are the catching images of Asia by the rapid economic growth. On the other hand, economic sectors dictate the shape of the city as well: High-rise buildings are desired by the large multinational companies for prestige and professional convenience. They are often considered to be a way to attract foreign investment by the city governments. Asian world cities are no longer considered as cities of factories or export processing zones, but as a constellation of office spaces. Factories are moved out of the cities or smaller cities in many cases. Besides commercial uses as office space, hotels or shopping malls, high-rise buildings serve residential uses as the increasing number of high-rise apartments and service apartments would point out. In this context, this paper discusses the rise of high-rise buildings in the era of Asian growth phenomenon, and how they serve to forge an urban identity for the Asian geographies.

As the flagship project for the next downtown Boston neighborhood slated for growth, Atlantic Wharf will be the city of Boston’s first LEED Gold mixed-use development. CBT Architects presents a case study on this new one million square foot project that includes approximately 65 residential units, ground-level retail and public spaces, six stories of below-grade parking, and 31 floors of office space that will bring urban activity directly to the Fort Point Channel water’s edge.
The new sustainable development is at the base of a series of restored and renovated historic structures that preserve the texture and streetscape of this site, integrated with a modern highrise glass tower. By preserving the south and east façades of the historic warehouses, using a very energy-efficient curtainwall, and employing green roof technologies, Atlantic Wharf will be the a centerpiece of Boston's green development.

It has often been dismissed as crude and

5 Paradigms And Kingdom Business For Alict August 2009Dion Forster
As society changes it is necessary to change the way in which we do ministry. The Church dominated model, where ministry is done almost exclusively in and through congregations, needs to be strengthened and further developed by empowering Christians to do ministry in their places of work and study! We spend most of our waking hours at work, or at school, or in our community and home. Furthermore, if we are honest, the majority of Churches do not equip and facilitate ministry beyond the interests of their congregational needs.
This presentation was prepared for a group of international students on the African Leadership in Community Transformation school in Cape Town. I prepared it based on my experience as a minister in the marketplace. I serve as a chaplain to a large construction company (the Power Group http://www.powergrp.co.za). I hold a doctorate in theology and science and am an ordained minister in the Methodist Church of Southern Africa - so, this presentation draws together:
- Theology
- Biblical and scriptural injunctions on ministry
- An understanding of economics and justice
- Neuroscience (showing how and why we do certain things)
- Research on the Church and the Christian faith

This presentation from GlobalCAST Resources highlights some principles that can guide missions mobilization. We explore mobilization that does not resort to tactics like manipulation. 3. There is a wrong perception
about the sacred and the secular
God wants His rule in every
dimension of life
4. Four Lethal Misbeliefs
The combination of four major misbeliefs usually
neutralizes God’s calling on those anointed for
marketplace ministry:
1. There is a God-ordained division between clergy
and laity.
2. The Church is called to operate primarily inside
a building often referred to as the temple.
5. 3. People involved in business cannot be as
spiritual as those serving in traditional Church
ministry.
4. The primary role of marketplace Christians is to
make money to support the vision of those “in
the ministry.”
(taken from Ed Silvoso, Annointed for Business, page 23)
6. God@Work : Truths to Live By
1. You have an assignment in the marketplace
To be anointed for business is to be set aside by
God for service in the marketplace. Once
anointed, we are to use our job as a ministry
vehicle to transform the marketplace so that the
gospel will be preached to, and heard by, every
creature in our sphere of influence. The same
principle applies in all areas of the marketplace:
business, education and government.
– page 33 (Ed Silvoso, Annointed for Business)
7. 2. You were custom made for His purpose in your
life!
“Now there are different kinds of gifts, but it is
the same Holy Spirit who is the source of them
all. There are different kinds of service in the
church, but it is the same Lord we are serving.
There are different ways God works in our lives,
but it is the same God who does the work
through all of us.”
(I Corinthians 12:4-6)NLT
3. God wants to show up at your workplace!
8. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as
working for the Lord, not for men, since you
know that you will receive an inheritance from the
Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are
serving” (Colossians 3:23-24)
9. You are Annointed & Appointed
John 17:18..”I sent them into the world just as you sent me
into the world”
Missions does not equal moving overseas…it is seeing the
cross!
