Responsibility for creating The National Guild’s entire membership benefits program. Following focus groups with Guild
members and the public I was tasked with putting together a complete strategy for recruitment, sales, membership
benefits, marketing materials, social media marketing, advertising and television commercial campaign.
Research, design, briefing and project managing an Augmented Reality app (the first of its kind) for the moving public. Work
on the app included scripting, directing and producing in-app videos, designing logos, devising and commissioning 3D
models and assets for the app, design of the user interface, problem solving, testing, approval and submission of app to
Google Play and Apple app stores. The app can be personalised to each member and includes unique, user generated
Augmented Reality.
Concept, design, script and development of first of its kind personalised video quotation system: A new concept in quoting
for customers, The Video Quotation system utilises variable data video to give a truly personalised experience to the
customer. I took the project from an idea through to completion and the final product includes a simple user interface, an
extensive database of pre-recorded customer names and modular and variable computer animation.
Director of Marketing
The National Guild of Removers and Storers Ltd 2001 – PRESENT
Television commercial: Script, design, direction through to approval by Clearcast on behalf of the Advertising Standards
Authority.
Having designed their last marketing pack in 2006 (with an innovative, at the time, 3D animated DVD), I created,
designed, authored and produced a completely new set of marketing materials for use by Guild members to help them
increase their conversion rates. Commissioning work from numerous creatives and working in conjunction with the
Augmented Reality app developers. This project involved problem solving and creating generic designs and artwork that
can be adapted for varying levels of personalisation. The marketing materials also include a 3D pop up card using
Augmented Reality personalised to each member. This Augmented Reality pop up canvass card has achieved an 80%
response rate from the public.

Sales and design
Display Creations 1999 – 2001
Coutts specialised in creating Point of Sale (POS) for the film industry. Using CAD and cardboard and paper engineering, I
worked on numerous high profile POS projects such as the VHS rerelease of Star Wars (episodes IV to VI), The Full Monty,
Mousehunt, Antz, the rerelease of Grease and Saturday Night Fever on to VHS (given a free rein on this project I created a
complex jukebox design, complete with flashing lights. The client liked the final product so much they doubled their
original order.
During my time at Coutts I was singled out by one of the directors for having sales potential. I and three colleagues were
