EMPLOYMENT
05/11 - 03/15 Turning Point
Lead graphic designer and manager of four junior creatives within the
Marketing department. Working with multiple clients, partners and
audiences. I oversaw the organisation’s creative output, standards and
brand compliance. In an environment of diminishing resources, I built a
proven track record of consistently delivering on time and within budget.
I developed marketing campaigns to support the organisation’s growth plans
in line with its strategic objectives. I designed and commissioned a wide
range of digital and printed collateral. I sourced, briefed and managed
external creatives and suppliers, from video production agencies to web-
to-print solutions and printers. During this time I developed an in depth
knowledge of a wide range of technical processes.
Key achievements
Award winning design. Recognised by the National Recovery Awards for
the design of Recovery Stories, a compilation of personal accounts and
artwork. Shortlisted in the Recovery Street Film Festival for Vicky’s Story,
part of a series of three films I oversaw from concept to completion including
research, contributor selection, filming and editing.
Business winning design. Designed illustrative models that articulated complex
operational processes in an innovative and visual way to win new business.
Web design. Review and revision of corporate and internal websites in
2012 and again in 2014. Worked closely with a team of developers to
update creative and functional aspects of the sites.
Identity. Created all aspects of the visual brand for the NHS Earl's Court
Health and Wellbeing Centre, working closely with the centre’s architects,
interior designers and medical staff. Ensured the brand reflected the building
itself and the vision for a new integrated health care provider. Delivered
marketing campaigns for the centre.
