Both adults and students can benefit – even
though this is not a math circle activity.

5. Our Guiding Principle
Adults may have a poor understanding of
what educational materials kids would
understand and like.
Kids know what they like better than adults
think they do!

6. Example of the Problem
The book Everyday Mathematics was
probably not reviewed by kids
… because …
It is not nearly as interesting to kids as the
book Perplexing Perceptions… which
probably was reviewed by kids.
