1ST CAREER DAY CELEBRATION
Distinguished guests, Ladies and Gentlemen,
all protocol observed, before I unfold my
speech; I would first of all like to give my
gratitude to the Almighty God for His
protection and guidance throughout the
preparation for this unique programme.
I would also like to take this opportunity to
thank you all in advance for your presence.
Kids And Wise Foundation was established in
9th September 2010 with the aim of educating
and providing support for the less endowed
children in our society. Initially, we used to
sponsor children and youths, who were not able
to pay their school fees, it was through this
action that brought to the establishment of the
school.
The core mandate of Kids And Wise Foundation is
to provide material and financial assistance to
children, widows and orphans.
Over the years too, Christ Embassy church have
been donating to help us achieve certain aims, it
was their donations that helped us to reach more
children. Today, we, the entire members of Kids
And Wise Foundation give a heartfelt thanks to the
Christ Embassy Taifa branch church for their help,
we say God bless them and we pray that God will
increase them to continually support these good
works. Just last year, we were honoured to have the
current minister for foreign affairs and MP for
Sowutuom Constituency here who also gracefully
donated a lots of items to support the school work.
We say thank you to Honourable Shirley Ayorkor
Botchway. God should bless her wherever she may
be right now.

• ACHIEVEMENTS
1. Currently, Kids And Wise Foundation
have been able to establish a school and
gives Free and Quality Education to the
whole community. We have qualified
teachers, who have been given good
training in child education and they are
really doing well to assisting these young
ones academically. We have a head
master who manages the school
effectively and we also have qualified
personnel’s running the administration
making the school number one in child
education.
3. We have sponsored 5 vocational training
students, 3 nursing and pharmacy students
and 32 senior high and junior high students to
successfully graduate.
We also supported 25 orphans, 17 youths and
60 young children
4. We have helped eight widows in our
community and parents who need financial
assistance

• THE NEED
Kids And Wise Foundation at the moment do not
have our own land, where our school is, founds
itself on another man’s land which we have
limited time to vacate from that land. We are
hereby pleading to everyone here today to donate
in support of the school so that we can build our
school on our own land and have the peace to
educate our young ones. We also want to expand
our school from class three to JHS and even SHS
when we have the resources.
We also need financial support from individuals,
private business owners and government agencies.
We believe that we can contribute to make the
change we all want in Ghana. A better life and a
better future for our children!
• FUTURE PLANS
We want to build an extra modern ICT
training center to help our young ones have a
good knowledge of the computer to meet the
current global economy.
We also want to build a Vocational Training
Center and a Recreational center to both
educate and entertain our children. We want
to raise entrepreneurs who will set up more
businesses in the country to reduce high
unemployment rate.
And finally we want to come out to the
public to touch more lives.

• Conclusion: With regards to the above mentioned
achievements and plans, I would like to urge all persons
present here to donate generously to assist the
foundation work out its plans. We the executives of this
foundation promise to provide exactly as we have
stated today.

Madam Chairperson, Distinguished guests, Ladies
and gentlemen, welcome.
We are delighted to have you here to participate and
share in the first ever career day celebration hosted by
Kids and Wise Foundation. Thank you for coming.
The Career Day Celebration has been planned to
educate parents on the importance of child education,
its implications on the child’s future career and ways
to make parents understand that supporting their
children and not imposing on them, their interest will
lend much credence to raising great leaders for
Ghana.
Kids And Wise Foundation is committed to actively
raising the quality of life of every child. We want all
children, regardless of race, creed or circumstance to
achieve their full potential. Our task is to make it
possible. Our mission is to provide practical, step by
step assistance.
We the members of this organisation work with the educational
rights stated in the 1992 constitution, article 25 (a), that (All
persons shall have the right to equal educational opportunities
and facilities and with a view to achieving the full realisation
of that right- basic education shall be free, compulsory and
available to all).
We have also adopted the United Nations Universal
Declaration of Human Rights, we are aware of rights in many
spheres, including education. The 1948 agreement declared in
article 26 of the American constitution states that, (Education
should be compulsory and free for children). That goal is as
pertinent today as it was then. It’s a goal I know we all share,
the full development of every child.
As a body, Kids and Wise Foundation recognizes good reading
skills established as the foundation of fulfilling an ongoing
education.
And before I hand over the mic to the MC for this event, I
want to say once more on behalf of the organizing committee,
welcome. It’s a pleasure to see so many of you here. Thank
you.

9. OUR WORK IN EDUCATION
We have been supporting
children since 2010. For so many
years we have been able to also
educate about 130 children in the
community of Alhaji, Israel and
Lomnava, towns in Accra. We
believe that the only way to
make a country developed is
when we invest in their
education. Also creating the
environment that favours them.

10. OUR WORK IN CHARITY
Life can be very difficult when there
is no one there to help. Kids and
Wise Foundation has been
established to support the poor and
orphans in our communities. We seek
to give them shelter, education, food,
good drinking water and hope in life.
We encourage orphans and cater for
them, letting them see the light and
seeing the future as bright as they
wish. We have come to notice that
the only way to make these young
ones happy is to go to any length to
put smiles on their faces.

child education in all levels of life.
