Blocking the Path to
Happiness
 One reason why many people don’t feel as much
happiness is because they don’t allow
themselves to experience it.
 Many have a false belief that they must
accomplish something to experience happiness.
 Or they believe they must achieve their goals
quickly, otherwise, it wouldn't be worth their time
& energy.
 As a result, many people have never started on
their goals/dreams that would have resulted in
joy.
Accomplishment vs.
Experience
 Happiness is not about accomplishments, but
it’s about experiences.
 Experiences don’t need you to reach a
certain destination or achieve tasks.
 Happiness isn’t about how quick you
complete your goals & dreams; it's about
moving forward & fueling what you want with
passion.
 When your goals & dreams are alive, then
your brain also behaves with determination,
allowing experiences of happiness.
Determination
 With the ability to believe that your
goals/dreams are possible, you’ll be
empowered in your actions &
behavior to continue forward.
 If you’re not moving forward, then
your goals/dreams are not alive,
resulting in lowered happiness.
Nourish Your Happiness
 As long as you’re alive, your goals &
dreams must be too for your soul &
happiness to persist.
 If you stop pursuing your goals/dreams
because of negative self-doubts, then
your happiness will slowly die too.
 You must support your happiness by
nourishing it with activities that grow your
skills to fuel your goals/dreams alive.
Moving Forward
 Remember, happiness isn’t about how
many goals you can achieve.
 It’s about moving forward towards your
goals & not letting them die.
 As you accomplish your previous goals,
you must add new ones.
 Give yourself the chance to achieve your
dreams in order for your happiness to
stay alive.
