In 2011, long time client, H&H Shooting Sports Complex, experienced a lull in
business. They were not losing ground, but they were not gaining it either. I
revisited their media strategy and moved some of the focus off cable television
and into social media. Working with a local NBC affiliate, we designed a Facebook
campaign that included advertising on television and web. During the course of
this campaign, our goal was to reach and establish 750 new “friends” or “likes” on
the H&H page. In one weeks time, activity on the H&H Facebook page tripled and
we established nearly 3000 new “likes.” Since this campaign, H&H has seen a
growth in business and their “likes” are still on the rise.
When my agency was hired on to handle all of the advertising efforts for Furniture
Buy Consignment, it was a daunting task. The business had only been open for 3
months and budget constraints made things difficult. But, relationships with reps
from different mediums allowed me to write and produce a television commercial
for cable and place an effective media buy for the client. Additional funds were
used to advertise and brand the store in several small “home” publications in the
metro area. Since the start of the campaign, business has been booming and our
client is now thinking of expanding and opening a second store.
