 The TDM (Test Data Management) team at CVS Caremark is responsible for test data setup for
the QA testing.
 The requests are from the various CVS application testing team to either Create or Extract
data for the following three claim adjudication engines present in CVS Caremark
1) Rx Claim – Resides in A s400
2) RECAP – Resides in Mainframes
3) QL – Resides in Mainframes (Back end)
 TheData Creation requests includes Plan creation, Member creation (Med D/Commercial/
Aetna), Claims & refills creation (Retail Claims/Mail order) for the three claim adjudication
engines.
 The Data Extraction requests includes extraction of production data (Member, Pl an, Cla ims,
Schedule etc), Mask the sensitive data like SSN, Personal Health Information and loading it
into the test regions of three claim adjudication engines.
 We use mainframes for the following activities,1)RxClaim- Q L Eli gibility Load 2) RECAP –
Member creation and QL Load 3) Back Dating 4) ACT order creation 5) Data Extraction from
production.

loading the same into Mainframe.
