The human body has not yet been able to adapt itself to the dairy products and cereals and we have actually also integrated fast food into our daily habits. This is one factor that is hurting our bodies beyond repair. Abandoning certain nutritional aspects and adapting to some new ingredients has not really gone well with our bodies and this has adversely affected immunity of our bodies.
How can you improve your immune system? On the whole, your immune system does a remarkable job of defending you against disease-causing microorganisms. But sometimes it fails: A germ invades successfully and makes you sick. Is it possible to intervene in this process and boost your immune system? What if you improve your diet? Take certain vitamins or herbal preparations? Make other lifestyle changes in the hope of producing a near-perfect immune response?
Discover how to support your immune system to protect yourself from various disease-causing microorganisms. There are simple lifestyle changes you can make.
Medicines That Boost Immunity
What are Immunity Boosters?
Immunity is the ability of our body to provide protection against
infectious diseases and diseases caused by bacteria such as
viruses, bacteria, parasites and other harmful microorganisms.
Therefore, food additives in foods, fruits, vegetables, and even
processed foods appear to be immunostimulants to help
increase their ability to fight disease.
All parts of the body that help us fight disease and strengthen
our immunity are collectively referred to as the immune system.
Our immune system is able to detect harmful bacteria and
viruses that have entered our body - these cells, also called
antigens, attack them by producing "antibodies".
The immune system is a combination of cells, tissues, and
organs that work together to protect the body from infection and
disease. There are vaccines that produce immunity. With the
Covid-19 vaccine, we protect against the best viruses, reduce
the risk of infection and inflammation, and help prevent serious
illness and death.
Some medications and home remedies help treat mild to
moderate cases of COVID.
However, in addition to treatment and precautions to prevent
the virus, there are ways to reduce stress and lead a healthy
lifestyle for optimal immune system function.
Healthy living strategies for your immune system
Regular Workout. Eliminate 150 minutes of moderate physical
workout.
Look at a balanced, fruitful and verbal diet. Use MyPlate
technology to select portions and tips for healthy foods that
have many features.
No Weight gain: Focus on a BMI of 25 or less. The best way
to lose weight is to have a balanced and balanced diet. Learn
more about how to eat right on a small budget.
Get more sleep at night: Establish daily routines and daily
activities to practice good sleep.
Reduce stress. Include daily activities that help you cope with
stress, such as socializing with loved ones and going out.
Regular activities such as meditation and exercise.
Smoking. If you smoke, you can get help to stop smoking.
If you drink alcohol, take it moderately. Reduce the amount
of alcohol you can store at home or the number of cups /
bottles you can drink.
Take steps to prevent infection, such as frequent hand
washing and social distance.
Food Fix: Immune System Boost
1. Citrus fruits
Most people consume vitamin C immediately after a cold.
Because it helps to build the immune system.
Vitamin C is believed to increase the production of white blood
cells, which are the key to fighting infection.
Almost all citrus fruits contain vitamin C. With so many options,
it is easy to add this vitamin C juice to any diet.
2. Red bell peppers
If you thought citrus fruits contain more vitamin C than any
other fruit or vegetable, think again. One ounce of red pepper
contains about three times more vitamin C (127 mg) than
Florida orange (45 mg).
Red pepper is rich in vitamin C, which is good for the skin.
A healthy immune system can defeat invading disease-causing germs (or pathogens), such as bacteria, viruses, parasites as well as cancer cells while protecting healthy tissue.

Medical Technology Tackles New Health Care Demand - Research Report - March 2...pchutichetpong
M Capital Group (“MCG”) predicts that with, against, despite, and even without the global pandemic, the medical technology (MedTech) industry shows signs of continuous healthy growth, driven by smaller, faster, and cheaper devices, growing demand for home-based applications, technological innovation, strategic acquisitions, investments, and SPAC listings. MCG predicts that this should reflects itself in annual growth of over 6%, well beyond 2028.
According to Chris Mouchabhani, Managing Partner at M Capital Group, “Despite all economic scenarios that one may consider, beyond overall economic shocks, medical technology should remain one of the most promising and robust sectors over the short to medium term and well beyond 2028.”
There is a movement towards home-based care for the elderly, next generation scanning and MRI devices, wearable technology, artificial intelligence incorporation, and online connectivity. Experts also see a focus on predictive, preventive, personalized, participatory, and precision medicine, with rising levels of integration of home care and technological innovation.
The average cost of treatment has been rising across the board, creating additional financial burdens to governments, healthcare providers and insurance companies. According to MCG, cost-per-inpatient-stay in the United States alone rose on average annually by over 13% between 2014 to 2021, leading MedTech to focus research efforts on optimized medical equipment at lower price points, whilst emphasizing portability and ease of use. Namely, 46% of the 1,008 medical technology companies in the 2021 MedTech Innovator (“MTI”) database are focusing on prevention, wellness, detection, or diagnosis, signaling a clear push for preventive care to also tackle costs.
In addition, there has also been a lasting impact on consumer and medical demand for home care, supported by the pandemic. Lockdowns, closure of care facilities, and healthcare systems subjected to capacity pressure, accelerated demand away from traditional inpatient care. Now, outpatient care solutions are driving industry production, with nearly 70% of recent diagnostics start-up companies producing products in areas such as ambulatory clinics, at-home care, and self-administered diagnostics.

Antibiotic Stewardship by Anushri Srivastava.pptxAnushriSrivastav
Stewardship is the act of taking good care of something.
Antimicrobial stewardship is a coordinated program that promotes the appropriate use of antimicrobials (including antibiotics), improves patient outcomes, reduces microbial resistance, and decreases the spread of infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms.
WHO launched the Global Antimicrobial Resistance and Use Surveillance System (GLASS) in 2015 to fill knowledge gaps and inform strategies at all levels.
ACCORDING TO apic.org,
Antimicrobial stewardship is a coordinated program that promotes the appropriate use of antimicrobials (including antibiotics), improves patient outcomes, reduces microbial resistance, and decreases the spread of infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms.
ACCORDING TO pewtrusts.org,
Antibiotic stewardship refers to efforts in doctors’ offices, hospitals, long term care facilities, and other health care settings to ensure that antibiotics are used only when necessary and appropriate
According to WHO,
Antimicrobial stewardship is a systematic approach to educate and support health care professionals to follow evidence-based guidelines for prescribing and administering antimicrobials
In 1996, John McGowan and Dale Gerding first applied the term antimicrobial stewardship, where they suggested a causal association between antimicrobial agent use and resistance. They also focused on the urgency of large-scale controlled trials of antimicrobial-use regulation employing sophisticated epidemiologic methods, molecular typing, and precise resistance mechanism analysis.
Antimicrobial Stewardship(AMS) refers to the optimal selection, dosing, and duration of antimicrobial treatment resulting in the best clinical outcome with minimal side effects to the patients and minimal impact on subsequent resistance.
According to the 2019 report, in the US, more than 2.8 million antibiotic-resistant infections occur each year, and more than 35000 people die. In addition to this, it also mentioned that 223,900 cases of Clostridoides difficile occurred in 2017, of which 12800 people died. The report did not include viruses or parasites

There are always plenty of disease‐causing
bacteria, viruses, fungi and other organisms
lurking, either in our bodies or in the environment,
waiting for an opportunity to attack a susceptible
human.Theyarepartoflifewecannotavoidbutwe
do have a system for coping with them – armies of
immune cells which recognize these invaders,
attack them and destroy them before they destroy
us.
The immune system is a fluid network designed to
protect us from agents of disease and to heal
wounds delivered by injury or invasion. One
immunologist called it a “roving bag of cells” that
patrols our bodies on missions of resistance and
restoration. The immune system is made up of
special organs, cells and chemicals that fight
infection(microbes).Themainpartsoftheimmune
system are: white blood cells, antibodies, the
complement system, the lymphatic system, the
spleen,thethymus,andthebonemarrow.

likebacteria,viruses,parasitesorfungi,andto

to recognize and neutralize harmful
substancesfromtheenvironment,and
to fight disease‐causing changes in the body,
suchascancercells.
If our immune systems fail to react properly to an
outside agent – say a virus or bacterium – the result
isaninfection.
There are two subsystems within the immune
system, known as the innate (non‐specific) immune
system and the adaptive (specific) immune system.
Bothofthesesubsystemsarecloselylinkedandwork
together whenever a germ or harmful substance
triggersanimmuneresponse.
The innate immune system provides a general
defense against harmful germs and substances, so
it's also called the non‐specific immune system. It
mostly fights using immune cells such as natural
killer cells and phagocytes (“eating cells”). The main
job of the innate immune system is to fight harmful
substances and germs that enter the body, for

The adaptive (specific) immune system makes
antibodies and uses them to specifically fight certain
germs that the body has previously come into
contact with. This is also known as an “acquired”
(learned)orspecificimmuneresponse.
