assist project manager to achieve the target with respect to quality issues and ISO
9001:2008 Quality Management System
 Overall supervision and monitoring on all site activities (e.g. concreting & rebar
works and etc.) to ensure that work is completed in accordance with technical
compliance, contract specifications, and agreed procedure, method statements as
per QMS and ISO 9001:2008 Standards and Client satisfaction.
 Maintains and updates work schedules, planning and other informative control
system in monitoring the projects progress. Identify and report on issues that may
affect the work priorities and schedules.
 Scheduling of manpower, material, equipment and activities for actual daily
needs on the project sites.
 Preparations of all documents related to quality issues, inspections; and attend
inspections with the client/consultant for all activities of the site; and ensure that it
is as per latest approved drawings and get approvals.
 Establish & maintain harmonious relationship during the third party inspection.
 Raised WIRs (Work Inspection Requests) for installed materials & MIRs
(Material Inspection Requests) for received materials on site to be offered for
inspection and approval.
 Raised Non-Conformance & Field Observation Reports to concerned parties that
the work or materials must be re-tested, remedied or removed, as appropriate for
closing out.
 Maintains deficiency lists (NCR, FOR and Snags) and discuss issues or corrections
required in appropriate methods; retains QA files and documents results of all
inspections and test records and confirming the accuracy.
 Give prior intimation to proper official about the calibration of measuring
instrument or equipment at least one month before its due date arrival.
 Assist the review of material and document submittals, RFIs by the
subcontractor with Technical Department and monitors quality of project
submittals in accordance with approved specifications and construction drawings
for site implementation.
 Conduct independent follow-up quality assurance inspections and
communicate deficiencies to proper officials. Reports any failing or ‘borderline’ test
results immediately for escalation. Liaising with the QA/QC Manager or Direct
Manager to flag and rectify any issue that may affect the quality of work and
materials.
 Design and develop forms and instructions for evaluating, assessing, reporting
and documenting on quality standards.
 Research and study methods to address quality control issues.
 Evaluates and helps reconciles variation orders and billings, proposals and other
documents and procedures as it pertains to quality assurance and implementation
 Prepares Weekly Accomplishment Reports, Monthly & Weekly Progress
Reports.
 Do estimates on variation order of contractors for comparison
 Monitors and checks concreting and rebar works, sampling and testing of
cylinder or cubes, reinforce steel and other materials used in the project
 Review design to assess and ensure its compliance with requirements of
regulatory authorities.
 Undertake programming, planning & forecasting to ensure construction
activities within the schedule and estimate possible additional works on the
