This letter is written in strong support of Ms. Jovana Sierra’s scholarship application.
I have had the privilege of getting to know Ms. Sierra throughout this past year. She was
a student in my Biology course. Jovana was an ideal student; constantly exhibiting a high
degree of intelligence, motivation, and initiative. Jovana was very inquisitive and always
interested in achieving far beyond the basic requirements of the course. In addition to
these qualifications, she constantly displayed a positive attitude and a desire to succeed.
The results of these qualities were easily visible in her exam grades. Furthermore, her
transcript and overall GPA also demonstrate that her academic success is not restricted
solely to Biology.
Jovana’s enthusiasm and drive are exceptional. Aside from excelling in her classes,
Jovana has added the extra challenge of completing Honor’s projects and Service
Learning projects for her courses as well. She has even found time to volunteer her time
with the Papa Gayo community program. Overall, I am confident that she possesses the
skills and determination to be a successful student and researcher. Her potential for
future success is exceptional. Therefore, I hope that you will grant her admission to your
program and facilitate her academic and professional progress.
