Presentation Design Rationale
This is an in-person presentation with a persuasive narrative that appeals to the audience's emotions and ethics (ethos and pathos).
All images are reinforcers of this narrative and not to act as a stand-alone element.
Contrast
Both narration and images present a point of contrast, what it is, and what could be.
Repetition
There is a repetition of elements such as the number of photos in each slide meant to be emphasized (gray background); in close-
ups, because this is a photography and film technique that conveys deep emotions; wide shots of cities in which the audience
becomes a witness of something great about to happen; repetition of keywords; and slides meant to create a firm statement.
Alignment
There are two alignments used throughout this presentation center within the slides and the rule of thirds and center for pictures.
Proximity
This is observed in the deep connection of narrative and imagery; there is no distance between what is said, shown, and felt.
NOTE: I have included the written narration right after every slide to give a better understanding of why I chose to go this route.
