Johnnie Walker is a brand of Scotch whisky owned by Diageo. It originated from John "Johnnie" Walker's grocery shop in 1825 in Scotland. The various Johnnie Walker expressions are made from blends of up to 40 different grain and malt whiskies that are aged for a minimum of 12 years, with some expressions like Gold Label and Blue Label using even older whiskies.
