Who would you hire?
Interview Q&A
1) Tell me about yourself.
2) What are your greatest strengths?
3) What are your greatest weknesses?
4) Why are you leaving or have left your previous job?
5) Why do you want this job?
6) Why should I hire you?
7) Can you work under pressure?
8) What are your goals for the future?
1) Tell me about yourself.
● Start with your name
● Give your place information (where you live and where you are
from)
● Education in short
● Job experience if any
● Family details in short
My name is Johnny Depp. I live in Kentucky, USA. I have done a
Master in Business Administration. I have 2 years experience as
a General Manager at IBM. I live with my wife and 2 kids.
2) What are your greatest strengths?
Say at least 3 – Match your skills with the job position you want
● Adaptability
● Hard working
● Honest
● Flexibility
● Optimistic
● Fast decision making
● Persistence
● Self motivated
● Straightforward attitude
● Ability to work under pressure
I am a honest, self motivated and hard working person with a positive attitude towards
my career and my life.
3) What are your greatest weaknesses?
Always said how you manage yourself to minimize the inpact of the weakness
● Impatient
● Sensitive
● Talkative
● Trust people very quickly
● Can say 'no'
● Take decision very quickly
● Get nervous when speaking in front of a large group
● Shy

I have a hard time delegating and realize this is something I need to work on. Being the
only one in control isn’t always realistic or possible and my desire to control every aspect of
a project can slow me down. I am working on to improve myself as volunteer for team
projects. The experiences, while initially uncomfortable for me as I had to learn to let things
go and rely on other people, have really helped to open my eyes to the value of
cooperation.
4) Why are you leaving or have left
your previous job?
● Keep it positive
● Keep it simple
I’d really love to be part of product development from beginning to

I am looking for new challenges and opportunities of professional
growth.
Unfortunately, I was laid off.
5) Why do you want this job?
● Tell them what you like about the company
● Relate it to your long-term career goals
When I read about your company I found that my
skills are matching your requirements. I can use
my skills and experience to contribute to the
company growth and I am confident I would be a
great addition to your team.
6) Why should I hire you?
● Share your knowledge
● Work experience
● Skills related to the job
● Career goals
I have good knowledge about the English language. I
have been working with all levels and ages and I have all
the skills required for the job. I will put all my efforts to
contribute in a positive way to this company.
7) Can you work under pressure?
● Give examples of volunteer and paid work that
involved pressure and deadlines.
We are always faced with pressure and deadlines
in our lives and I do not mind the stress. Stressful
situations are a learning and challenging
experience.
8) What are your goals for the future?
● Stress your interest in a long-term career at the company
I hope to become very good at my job and perhaps take
some schooling to become more skilled in my field of
work.
