The Holy Spirit is mentioned 43 times in Acts more than any other book.

Sermon by: Brian Birdow
"Good Seed. Good Ground?" Matthew 13:1-23 Sermon SlideshowDanny Scotton, Jr.
The Gospel is always good seed. But it doesn't always fall on good ground. The question is, what kind of soil are we? For the sermon text, audio, slideshow, sources, and more, please visit: http://bit.ly/C4C-Four-Soils
Christ the Redeemer's message produces a mixed bag of results. Jesus explains four different reactions to the Gospel in the Parable of the Sower (aka The Parable of the Four Soils).
First, hard-hearted hearers, referring to the seed sown by the path, are unwilling to understand. Satan snatches the seed of the message of the Kingdom from their hearts.
Second, fair-weather “fans”, referring to the seed sown on rocky ground, are initially enthusiastic but fickle and fleeting; when times get tough, they fall away since they have no root. They have a superficial, shallow commitment.
Third, backburner “believers”, referring to the seed sown among thorns, are unfruitful because the daily concerns of life and lure of material wealth compete for their allegiance.
No matter which camp one is in, all three are useless.
In contrast, fruitful followers, referring to the seed sown on good soil, bear fruit 100, 60, and 30 times what was sown. Such people continually produce fruit – godly actions that manifest their commitment to Christ.
An exposition of Revelation 2:8-11. How did the geography affect the city of Smyrna and the city affect the church? What commendation did our Lord give to this church? Would He give the same commendation to the church of your city? What counsel did He give?
John Oakes taught a two-part Introduction to the Old Testament for a group of new Christians in San Diego May 17 and 24, 2015. The first class serves as a general introduction as well as covering the Book of Genesis. Genesis is studied as a work of Christian theology-setting out the Christian world view and as a source of prophecy, prefigure and foreshadow of the Messiah. The second class finishes an intro to Genesis and covers Exodus to Deuteronomy, emphasizing prefigures and foreshadows in the story of Israel and in the laws, sacrifices, tabernacle and festivals.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
Overview on Edible Vaccine: Pros & Cons with Mechanism
Jesus is a prophet in the bible
1.
2. The early believers addressed Jesus as a prophet in the Bible. No mention in the bible that Jesus is a god. If Jesus had been a god, people would have addressed him as a god. The concept of the atoning-god savior was borrowed from the early religions that were prevalent at that time. www.knowmuhammad.org
3. Matt 21:10-11 Who is this?" So the multitudes said, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee." Matt 21:10-11 Who is this?" So the multitudes said, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee." www.knowmuhammad.org
4. Matthew 16:13-14: “When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" So they said, "Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.“ Note that none of them said that Jesus is God. www.knowmuhammad.org
5. Luke 7:16 “Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has risen up among us"; and, "God has visited His people. Note that they knew God as a separate identity and Jesus as a great prophet. www.knowmuhammad.org
6. In Luke 24:19 Peter is recorded saying “And He said to them, "What things?" So they said to Him, "The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people So according to this verse people knew Jesus as a prophet. www.knowmuhammad.org
7. John 6:14 “Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, "This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world." Referring to Moses and Deut. 18:15. Again people considered Jesus a prophet, not a god. www.knowmuhammad.org
8. Matt 14:5 “ they counted him as a prophet.” Matt 21:46 “ they took Him for a prophet.” Note in Matt 14:5 and 21:46 people around Jesus considered him a prophet. www.knowmuhammad.org
9. Matt 13:57 Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.“ About whom was Jesus talking? He, according to this verse, is referring to himself as a prophet. www.knowmuhammad.org
10. John 7:40-41 “Therefore many from the crowd, when they heard this saying, said, "Truly this is the Prophet." V.41 Others said, "This is the Christ." In no single verse did Jesus corrected people’s opinion saying “ No, I am not a prophet, I am a god or a part of trinity “ www.knowmuhammad.org
11. Peter stood up with the eleven disciples and addressed the crowd saying: “Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.” (Acts 2:22). Peter, one of the closest disciples to Jesus, affirms that Jesus was just a man whom God supported by miracles and signs. www.knowmuhammad.org
12. For Peter, Jesus was a servant of God. Peter said: “God raised up his servant...” (Acts 3:26). Once more, Jesus stresses that Jesus was nothing more than a servant who worshipped God. www.knowmuhammad.org
13. Peter declared: “The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus.” (Acts 3:13). It is clear that Peter was interested in proving to people that Jesus was no more than a servant. www.knowmuhammad.org
14. All of the disciples of Jesus held this view. In Acts 4:24 we are told that the believers prayed to God saying: “...they raised their voices together in prayer to God. ‘Sovereign Lord,’ they said, ‘you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.’” www.knowmuhammad.org
15. It is clear that the one they were praying to was not Jesus, because, two verses later, they referred to Jesus as “...your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed.” (Acts 4:27). : “Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.” (Acts 5:42). www.knowmuhammad.org
16. In fact there is no single verse that shows that Jesus is a god or a part of trinity, in the same time, as shown, there are several verses that stress the fact that Jesus is just a prophet. www.knowmuhammad.org
