The document discusses the Catholic belief in the Trinity - that God exists as three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) in one God. It provides several analogies to help explain this doctrine, such as the shamrock which has three leaves but is one plant. The Trinity is not explicitly stated in the Bible but can be inferred from passages that reference God as plural or mention all three persons, like Jesus's baptism where God's voice acknowledges Jesus as his Son and the Holy Spirit appears as a dove. While the Trinity is a mystery that we cannot fully comprehend, it is central to Christian faith.
God gave us His Word for a purpose. God wants us to be with Him in heaven. To do this we must change from serving Satan to serving God. God gave His Word so we would know how to live our lives. God gave His Word so we would change.

Presentation on the topic "Resurrection of Jesus" . Contains word study of the word "resurrection", harmonization of the Gospel accounts and historical evidence for the death, empty tomb and post-mortem appearances of Jesus.
Why did God give the Law - so high, So demanding, So unreasonable humanly speaking that no body (no man, no woman, no boy, no girl) has ever been able to keep them?
Repentance In Christian Conversion
Repentance is an act by which we realise we have offended an Holy and righteous God; this act is characterised by a deliberate turn away from the sinful act(s) in question, begging for God’s forgiveness and turning to him and his ways. Repentance is also that window that opens for us to see what we are called to; this being that, we are to represent God’s living and working in human life; how the effects of sin’s offensive attack on God defeats this purpose and how it can be remedied by means of the lordship of God’s Spirit over man’s spirit, soul and body.
Contents of this presentation:
1. What is Christ?
- Direct statements of the Eternity and Deity of the Son of God
- Implications that the Son of God is Eternal
2. The importance of the Issue
3. Some clues to the possibility of the doctrine Myth, Art and Logic

The Trinitarian God, Seth Gatchell, July 8 2018Pacific Church
The Bible reveals God to be quite unique. The Bible reveals God to be one being, but three persons…that is one in essence, but three in character (Father, Son, and Spirit). This is a bit difficult for us to wrap our minds around because it can seem a bit contradictory, but Pastor Seth spends this week exploring the “dance” of the Trinity.
Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Triquetra is a three-part interlocking fish
symbol that symbolizes the Unity of HolyTrinity.
From Latin words, tri ‘three‟ and quetrus ‟corner‟

because he is infinite and we are mere
specks of dust. No man will ever
plumb his wisdom.
We are finite & God is infinite.
Yet, God is not bound to such a
limited existence.

14. St. Augustine‟s Analogy
St. Augustine wrote a major treatise “On The Trinity”,
in which he notes that of all creatures, only man is
made in the „image‟ of God. He reasoned therefore,
that the best analogy for God‟s nature would be found
in the creature who bears His image.
He sought to understand God’s
Triunity in studying dimensions of

20. St. Patrick‟s Analogy
St. Patrick, the evangelist to Ireland, tried to teach
about the Trinity by showing the shamrock, a three
leaf clover, to the ancient residents of the island
[Ireland]. The Trinity is composed of three persons
(the 3 leaves) who are in nature one being (the
shamrock itself). Each has a distinct function in
relation to humanity.

So, who is responsible for the existence of the building?
27. Although the doctrine of the
Trinity is not explicitly found
in the Bible, several
passages suggest or even
imply that God exists as
more than one person.
28. We cannot deny that there is something
called „bible‟ even if no such name is to
be found in the Bible – word for word.
Likewise, no exact word for Trinity is
found in the scripture but several
passage for the idea are there.
Remember: That the bible was not
sent from heaven in complete
form, it was only compiled on the
4th century by the Catholic Church.
29. To claim that TRINITY does not
exist, because the exact word
does not appear in the Bible is a
failure to understand the Bible.
The name does not make the essence;
the essence must exist first, then we
give it a name.
30. What do the plural verb ("let us") and the
plural pronoun ("our") mean?
31. God here is “Elohiym” in Hebrew, a plural
intensive, but singular meaning
36. Jesus rightly understands that David is
referring to two separate persons as “Lord”
(Matt. 22:41-46), but who is David's “Lord”
if not God himself ?
43. "After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately
from the water; and behold, the heavens were
opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending
as a dove and lighting on Him, and behold, a
voice out of the heavens said, „This is My
beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.‟
Matthew 3:16-17
In this scene, there are three characters involve:
1. The Father – who spoke ‘this is my beloved son
2. The Son - who was baptized
3. The Spirit - in the form of a dove
44. Father – Creator – creates and makes all things
possible.
Son – Redeemer – saves humanity from their
sins by becoming human.
Spirit – Sanctifier – continually makes things
holy as a gift sent from the Father and the Son.

53. Counselor or Comforter (Gk.
Parakletos) is a term commonly
used to speak of a person who
helps or gives comfort or counsel
to another person or persons, but
is used of the Holy Spirit in John's
gospel (14:16, 26; 15:26; 16:7).
54. The HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD
"But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan
filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit
and to keep back some of the price of the
land? “While it remained unsold, did it not
remain your own? And after it was sold,
was it not under your control? Why is it that
you have conceived this deed in your
heart? You have not lied to men but to
God.”"(Acts 5:3-4)

gifts, but the same Spirit.
And there are varieties of
ministries, and the same
