Lord Jesus Christ
is the name of the one God:
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The scriptures confirm that the disciples understood this truth.

There is One God

This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants
all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind,
the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people.
This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.
Ephesians 4:3-6
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope
when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
