Provided support to a diverse community on a wide range of issues relating to education, youth
resources, immigration, and employment. Drafted Civil Rights Act letters for the State Director of
LULAC. Prepared a U-Visa for a community member. Hosted public meetings, presented before
decision makers, and prepared outreach materials.
Conexion de Fútbol; Program Director – 10 hr/wk Spring 2010
Developed a relationship between the Sierra Mountain Soccer Club and the North Lake Tahoe Boys
and Girls Club. Initiated a program for at risk students between 5th and 8th grade. Served as a mentor

Urban Planning and Impact Analysis

Advocated for the development of a biomass plant location which would result in improved fire
management and air quality in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Drafted NEPA complaint to the Department of
Energy (DOE) regarding flaws in Placer County’s analysis.

Maintained organizational records. Advocated for a highway improvement alternative. Drafted NEPA
based complaints to State and Federal agencies.

California’s student leaders to be effective.
