Jeopardy
In music lessons in the classroom
Caitlyn Nill
Why use it?
-Since Middle-School in my school we have had smartboards in every classroom.
And using games and challanges was always a great way for me to learn.
-If freshman in college for example were using jeopardy to review for a music history
exam it would make them excited for the review process. When you make review a
game and a challenge it motivates people to study harder and beat everyone else.
*Especially if there is an incentive like the winner gets extra credit.*
How would it work?

Enter Questions
relevant to topic
Make sure questions are
challenging the student but
are nothing that they haven’t
learned.
-after this game they should
feel confident to take the test-
- and use their notes for the
game as a resource to study
from.
2
Students will
divide into teams..
-Once the students are
divided into teams they will
pick a column associated with
a category and then a number
(ex:100-500)
3
Students will
answer
-The students will pick their
question then will be given
time to answer it. So ,if they
picked a question worth 500
pts. And got it right they will
be given 500 points. And if
they get it wrong it will be
given to the next team.
Why it works.
Students when faced with a challenge against their peers will try and be
the winner, especially if there is a prize involved.
-Jeopardy makes learning fun and interactive and something to look
forward to instead of dread.
