Engineer for T-Mobiles core diameter routing network using the Oracle Diameter Service Router. Also
responsible for Tier 3 support and advanced troubleshooting of diameter routing network. Drives new
software loads through lab validation and testing, First Office Application “FOA” and into full network
deployment. Coordinates closely with Tier II operations teams and vendors to deploy software into the
production network. Partners with LTE and IMS core teams for DRA connectivity and routing strategy
including fail-over and redundancy. Performs competitive vendor analysis for multiple diameter routing
agents to ensure T-Mobile has the best possible platform. Currently working on proof of concept testing for
Oracles virtualized DSR in T-Mobiles lab. Part of T-Mobile working team to deploy NFV network.

o Liaison with Oracle, managing vendor relationships and forecasting hardware and software

process for outsourced project phases.
• Senior Engineer Systems Architecture T-Mobile Responsible for Architecture Design, Tier III support and
advanced troubleshooting of SS7 Network (SS7 links, MSU delivery failures, Tekelec Eagle STP hardware),
SCTP SME for SIGTRAN deployment. Mentor of tier 2 team members; coaches and trains new and tenured
employees.
o Liaison with Tekelec, managing vendor relationships and forecasting hardware and software upgrades.
Defines and delineates scope of work to assist in bidding process for outsourced project phases. Works
across teams to facilitate SIGTRAN implementations, and ensure RFC compliance. Assists with SCCP
intermediate and final global “MAP” routing scenarios. Creates and maintains all documentation for
tracking of STP’s layout and design. Creates training documents for SS7 operations teams.
o Engineered two mated STP pairs (four STPs) for SS7 hardware/transport diversity, successfully ensuring
no single outage could result in more than 25% link set failure. Performed T-Mobile’s first node
employing M3UA technology.
• Operations Engineer with T-Mobile, Handled daily operations and engineering of T-Mobile’s SS7 network as
SS7 Operations team member. Provided Tier II support, traced calls via GEO Probe protocol to verify accurate
SS7 messaging, sequencing and delivery. Employed myriad DACS equipment (Titan 5500 and 532, Alcatel
(various) and Eastern Research DNX-11).
o Built command MOPS, supplemented STP with additional data, built DACS transport cross-connections,
and setup all GTT/MAP/MTP routing to successfully perform SS7 link turn-ups.
• NOC tech with T-Mobile, across multiple geographic regions, responsible for data surveillance and
maintenance of cell sites and switches as T-Mobile NOC Technician. Employed Nokia and Nortel GUIs to
navigate cell sites. Responded to a range of TRX issues and multi-site outages. Interfaced with Switch
Technicians and local telephone carriers.
• Provisioning CCT with Qwest, installed/tested/troubleshot/turned-up DS1, DS3, OC0C and OC12 services,
