The document describes JDSU's Q Series lasers, which are high-power diode-pumped lasers that provide 355 nm or 532 nm outputs. They use intracavity harmonic generation for high efficiency and stability. Models in the Q301-Q333 range provide up to 10 W of output power at 355 nm, while Q201-Q202 models provide up to 12 W at 532 nm. The lasers feature excellent beam quality, stability, and lifetime. They are suitable for micromachining, wafer processing, and other materials processing applications.
The KES7000 conductive immunity test system complies with ISO7637, which is one of an EMC test standards for automotive electronics. This system consists of the KES7700 Series transient immunity tester, KES7400 Series supply voltage variations tester, and KES7100 application software dedicated to the KES7000 system. This product configuration supports JASO standards and the specific test requirements of various auto makers with options or custom orders.
Increasing importance of EMC tests for automotive electronics
Today, automobiles need to satisfy more strict social requirements of the environmental performance (e.g., improved fuel efficiency and measures for exhaust gas) and safety (e.g., on-board safety devices) as well as usability (e.g., driveability and comfort). It is immeasurable how much electronics are contributing to solutions of those requirements, and electronics is taking on more importance in the future.
Electronics has come into wide use not only in the automobile industry but also various other industries and our daily life. In particular, electronics has become widespread in the field of information communication in recent years. However, on the other hand, the widespread of electronics is yielding environments where electromagnetic waves are emitted around, and this may possibly cause confusion of telecommunication, bad influence on health, and other new misgivings. Therefore, automobile on-board electronic devices now need to be produced so that they have no unnecessary electromagnetic wave emission and are tolerant of electromagnetic waves, and the EMC tests are taking on more importance to satisfy those needs.

Deep Behavioral Phenotyping in Systems Neuroscience for Functional Atlasing a...Ana Luísa Pinho
Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) provides means to characterize brain activations in response to behavior. However, cognitive neuroscience has been limited to group-level effects referring to the performance of specific tasks. To obtain the functional profile of elementary cognitive mechanisms, the combination of brain responses to many tasks is required. Yet, to date, both structural atlases and parcellation-based activations do not fully account for cognitive function and still present several limitations. Further, they do not adapt overall to individual characteristics. In this talk, I will give an account of deep-behavioral phenotyping strategies, namely data-driven methods in large task-fMRI datasets, to optimize functional brain-data collection and improve inference of effects-of-interest related to mental processes. Key to this approach is the employment of fast multi-functional paradigms rich on features that can be well parametrized and, consequently, facilitate the creation of psycho-physiological constructs to be modelled with imaging data. Particular emphasis will be given to music stimuli when studying high-order cognitive mechanisms, due to their ecological nature and quality to enable complex behavior compounded by discrete entities. I will also discuss how deep-behavioral phenotyping and individualized models applied to neuroimaging data can better account for the subject-specific organization of domain-general cognitive systems in the human brain. Finally, the accumulation of functional brain signatures brings the possibility to clarify relationships among tasks and create a univocal link between brain systems and mental functions through: (1) the development of ontologies proposing an organization of cognitive processes; and (2) brain-network taxonomies describing functional specialization. To this end, tools to improve commensurability in cognitive science are necessary, such as public repositories, ontology-based platforms and automated meta-analysis tools. I will thus discuss some brain-atlasing resources currently under development, and their applicability in cognitive as well as clinical neuroscience.
Nutraceutical market, scope and growth: Herbal drug technologyLokesh Patil
As consumer awareness of health and wellness rises, the nutraceutical market—which includes goods like functional meals, drinks, and dietary supplements that provide health advantages beyond basic nutrition—is growing significantly. As healthcare expenses rise, the population ages, and people want natural and preventative health solutions more and more, this industry is increasing quickly. Further driving market expansion are product formulation innovations and the use of cutting-edge technology for customized nutrition. With its worldwide reach, the nutraceutical industry is expected to keep growing and provide significant chances for research and investment in a number of categories, including vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and herbal supplements.

Toxic effects of heavy metals : Lead and Arsenicsanjana502982
Heavy metals are naturally occuring metallic chemical elements that have relatively high density, and are toxic at even low concentrations. All toxic metals are termed as heavy metals irrespective of their atomic mass and density, eg. arsenic, lead, mercury, cadmium, thallium, chromium, etc.
The ability to recreate computational results with minimal effort and actionable metrics provides a solid foundation for scientific research and software development. When people can replicate an analysis at the touch of a button using open-source software, open data, and methods to assess and compare proposals, it significantly eases verification of results, engagement with a diverse range of contributors, and progress. However, we have yet to fully achieve this; there are still many sociotechnical frictions.
Inspired by David Donoho's vision, this talk aims to revisit the three crucial pillars of frictionless reproducibility (data sharing, code sharing, and competitive challenges) with the perspective of deep software variability.
Our observation is that multiple layers — hardware, operating systems, third-party libraries, software versions, input data, compile-time options, and parameters — are subject to variability that exacerbates frictions but is also essential for achieving robust, generalizable results and fostering innovation. I will first review the literature, providing evidence of how the complex variability interactions across these layers affect qualitative and quantitative software properties, thereby complicating the reproduction and replication of scientific studies in various fields.
I will then present some software engineering and AI techniques that can support the strategic exploration of variability spaces. These include the use of abstractions and models (e.g., feature models), sampling strategies (e.g., uniform, random), cost-effective measurements (e.g., incremental build of software configurations), and dimensionality reduction methods (e.g., transfer learning, feature selection, software debloating).
I will finally argue that deep variability is both the problem and solution of frictionless reproducibility, calling the software science community to develop new methods and tools to manage variability and foster reproducibility in software systems.

2. COMMERCIAL LASERS
Key Features • Intracavity harmonic generation
• Sealed laser head with Direct-Coupled Pump (DCP®) design
• Highest commercially available pulse energy and peak power
• Superior pulse-to-pulse amplitude and energy stability
• Relatively low fluence in harmonic crystals and no cavity
optic coatings exposed to UV for high reliability
• 355 or 532 nm outputs available
The JDSU Q Series lasers are sophisticated high-power Q-switched diode-
pumped laser systems. The Q Series family incorporates a rugged, efficient
Nd:YAG-based direct-coupled pump (DCP) platform with a proprietary design
for intracavity harmonic generation. As a result, it provides the highest power 355
and 532 nm laser systems with uncompromising stability and mode quality, from
single-shot operation to pulse repetition rates of up to 200 kHz. Whether for high
pulse-energy processing of refractory materials such as silicon, or high repetition-
rate processing of packaging materials such as Kapton, the Q Series delivers
unsurpassed performance combined with the longest system lifetimes in the
industry.
The Q Series lasers achieve their outstanding power with no loss of stability
through a unique integration of the DCP® architecture and extremely efficient
harmonic generation. The DCP® platform uses a Nd:YAG gain medium,
dramatically reducing thermal lensing issues and energy storage limitations. As a
result, the Q Series systems are able to operate at low repetition rates with high
pulse energies. As there is only limited thermal lensing, the same laser systems
may be optimized at repetition rates of up to 200 kHz to provide the highest
average UV powers commercially available.
The Q Series lasers enable the tightest possible process tolerances for
micromachining and other materials processing applications. Due to the self-
stabilizing characteristics of intracavity harmonic generation, all Q Series lasers
exhibit inherently high pulse-to-pulse energy and long-term output power
stability. In addition, the excellent thermal stability of the DCP® architecture
maintains a spatially stable output beam, which is extremely important for
processes requiring accurate feature placement.
Applications
• Micro via drilling
• Wafer scribing
• Low-k dielectric grooving
• Full-cut thin wafer dicing
