establishment in EPS-IMS Network. In mobile access network, we consider service is available if it is admitted by base station and is reliable if it is still supported in handover position. In core network, we consider service as reliable if its QoS criteria are satisfied. So we propose a new Qos Provisioning solution. To provide new application or to support handover service in busy network, our approach preempts resources by utility factor instead of priority consideration in existing works. In addition to
bandwidth reservation our solution allows core network reservation to improve the delay of real time service and minimize the loss rate of non-real time services.

An efficient Intrusion Detection System has to be given high priority while connecting systems with a network to prevent the system before an attack happens. It is a big challenge to the network security group to prevent the system from a variable types of new attacks as technology is growing in parallel. In this paper, an efficient model to detect Intrusion is proposed to predict attacks with high accuracy and less false-negative rate by deriving custom features UNSW-CF by using the benchmark intrusion dataset UNSW-NB15. To reduce the learning complexity, Custom Features are derived and then Significant Features are constructed by applying meta-heuristic FPA (Flower Pollination algorithm) and MRMR (Minimal Redundancy and Maximum Redundancy) which reduces learning time and also increases prediction accuracy. ENC (ElasicNet Classifier), KRRC (Kernel Ridge Regression Classifier), IGBC (Improved Gradient Boosting Classifier) is employed to classify the attacks in the datasets UNSW-CF, UNSW and recorded that UNSW-CF with derived custom features using IGBC integrated with FPA provided high accuracy of 97.38% and a low error rate of 2.16%. Also, the sensitivity and specificity rate for IGB attains a high rate of 97.32% and 97.50% respectively.

TEST-COST-SENSITIVE CONVOLUTIONAL NEURAL NETWORKS WITH EXPERT BRANCHESsipij
It has been proven that deeper convolutional neural networks (CNN) can result in better accuracy in many
problems, but this accuracy comes with a high computational cost. Also, input instances have not the same
difficulty. As a solution for accuracy vs. computational cost dilemma, we introduce a new test-cost-sensitive
method for convolutional neural networks. This method trains a CNN with a set of auxiliary outputs and
expert branches in some middle layers of the network. The expert branches decide to use a shallower part
of the network or going deeper to the end, based on the difficulty of input instance. The expert branches
learn to determine: is the current network prediction is wrong and if the given instance passed to deeper
layers of the network it will generate right output; If not, then the expert branches stop the computation
process. The experimental results on standard dataset CIFAR-10 show that the proposed method can train
models with lower test-cost and competitive accuracy in comparison with basic models.

One of the critical design problems in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is the Relay Node Placement
(RNP) problem. Inefficient deployment of RNs would have adverse effects on the overall performance and
energy efficiency of WSNs. The RNP problem is a typical example of an NP-hard optimization problem
which can be addressed using metaheuristics with multi-objective formulation. In this paper, we aimed to
provide an efficient optimization approach considering the unconstrained deployment of energy-harvesting
RNs into a pre-established stationary WSN. The optimization was carried out for three different objectives:
energy consumption, network coverage, and deployment cost. This was approached using a novel
optimization approach based on the integration of the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm and a
greedy technique. In the optimization process, the greedy algorithm is an essential component to provide
effective guidance during PSO convergence. It supports the PSO algorithm with the required information
to efficiently alleviate the complexity of the PSO search space and locate RNs in the spots of critical
significance. The evaluation of the proposed greedy-based PSO algorithm was carried out with different
WSN scenarios of varying complexity levels. A comparison was established with two PSO variants: the
classical PSO and a PSO hybridized with the pattern search optimizer. The experimental results
demonstrated the significance of the greedy algorithm in enhancing the optimization process for all the
considered PSO variants. The results also showed how the solution quality and time efficiency were
considerably improved by the proposed optimization approach. Such improvements were achieved using a
simple integration technique without adding to the complexity of the system and introducing additional
optimization stages. This was more evident in the RNP scenarios of considerably large search spaces, even
with highly complex and challenging setups.

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is commonly used to collect information from a remote area and one of the most important challenges associated with WSN is to monitor all targets in a given area while maximizing network lifetime. In wireless communication, energy consumption is proportional to the breadth of sensing range and path loss exponent. Hence, the energy consumption of communication can be minimized by varying the sensing range and decreasing the number of messages being sent. Sensing energy can be optimized by reducing the repeated coverage target. In this paper, an Adaptive Sensor Sensing Range (ASSR) technique is proposed to maximize the WSN Lifetime. This work considers a sensor network with an adaptive sensing range that are randomly deployed in the monitoring area. The sensor is adaptive in nature and can be modified in order to save power while achieving maximum time of monitoring to increase the lifetime of WSN network. The objective of ASSR is to find the best sensing range for each sensor to cover all targets in the network, which yields maximize the time of monitoring of all targets and eliminating double sensing for the same target. Experiments were conducted using an NS3 simulator to verify our proposed technique. Results show that ASSR is capable to improve the network lifetime by 20% as compared to other recent techniques in the case of a small network while achieving an 8% improvement for the case of a large networks.

Energy and Load Aware Routing Protocol for Internet of ThingsIJAAS Team
Maximizing the network lifetime is one of the major challenges in Low Power and Lossy Networks (LLN). Routing plays a vital role in it by minimizing the energy consumption across the networks through the efficient route selection for data transfer. IPv6 Routing Protocol for Low Power and Lossy Networks (RPL) is a IETF standardized IPv6 routing protocol for LLN. In this paper, we propose Energy and Load aware RPL (EL-RPL) protocol, which is an enhancement of RPL protocol. It uses a composite metric, calculated based on expected transmission count (ETX), Load and battery depletion index (BDI), for the route, selection. The COOJA simulator is used for performance evaluation. EL-RPL is compared with other similar protocols RER(BDI) RPL and fuzzy logic based RPL (OF-FL RPL). The simulation result shows that the EL-RPL improves the network lifetime by 8- 12% and packet delivery ratio 2-4%.
On Demand Bandwidth Reservation for Real- Time Traffic in Cellular IP Network...IDES Editor

(QoS). Evolutionary Algorithms are quite useful in

employs Genetic Algorithm (GA) for bandwidth
management in Cellular IP network. It compares the
performance of the model with another model used for
optimizing Connection Dropping Probability (CDP) using
Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Both models, GA
based and PSO based, try to minimize the Connection
Dropping Probability for real-time users in the network
by searching the free available bandwidth in the user’s
cell or in the neighbor cells and assigning it to the realtime
users. Alternatively, if the free bandwidth is not
available, the model borrows the bandwidth from nonreal
time-users and gives it to the real-time users.
Experimental results evaluate the performance of the GA
based model. The comparative study between both the
models indicates that GA based model has an edge over
the PSO based one.

Cloud computing makes the information technology industry boom. It is a great solution for businesses who want to save costs while ensuring the quality of service. One of the key issues that make cloud computing successful is the load balancing technique used in the load balancer to minimize time costs and optimize costs economically. This paper proposes an algorithm to enhance the processing time of tasks so that it can help improve the load balancing capacity on cloud computing. This algorithm, named as Improved Throttled Algorithm (ITA), is an improvement of Throttled Algorithm. The paper uses the Cloud Analyst tool to simulate. The selected algorithms are used to compare: Equally Load, Round Robin, Throttled and TMA. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm ITA has improved the processing time of tasks, time spent processing requests and reduced the cost of Datacenters compared to the selected popular algorithms as above. The improvement of ITA is because of selecting virtual machines in an index table that is available but in order of priority. It helps response times and processing times remain stable, limits the idling resources, and cloud costs are minimized compared to selected algorithms.
Design and development of handover simulator model in 5G cellular network IJECEIAES
In the modern era of technology, the high speed internet is the most important part of human life. The current available network is reckoned to be slow in speed and not be up to snuff for data transmission regarding business applications. The objective of handover mechanism is to reassign the current session handle by internet gadget. The globe needs the next generation high mobility and throughput performance based internet model. This research paper explains the proposed method of design and development for handover based 5G cellular network. In comparison to the traditional method, we propose to control the handovers between base-stations using a concentric method. The channel simulator is applied over the range of the frequencies from 500 MHz to 150 GHz and radio frequency for the 700 MHz bandwidth. The performance of the simulation system is calculated on the basis of handover preparation and completion time regarding base station as well as number of users. From this experiment we achieve the 7.08 ms handover preparation time and 9.98 ms handover completion time. The author recommended the minimum handover completion time, perform the high speed for 5G cellular networks.

There are many meta-heuristic algorithms that help in identifying unknown nodes for some known nodes. In this manuscript, hybrid metaheuristic optimization algorithms such as grey wolf optimization and salp swarm algorithm are used to solve localization problem of internet of things (IoT) sensors. Several experiments are conducted on every meta-heuristic optimization algorithm to compare them with the proposed method. The proposed algorithm achieved high accuracy with low error rate (0.001) and low power consumption.

The objective of ASSR is to find the best sensing range for each sensor to cover all targets in the network, which yields maximize the time of monitoring of all targets and eliminating double sensing for the same target. Experiments were conducted using an NS3 simulator to verify our proposed technique. Results show that ASSR is capable to improve the network lifetime by 20% as compared to other recent techniques in the case of a small network while achieving an 8% improvement for the case of a large networks.

Energy and Load Aware Routing Protocol for Internet of ThingsIJAAS Team
Maximizing the network lifetime is one of the major challenges in Low Power and Lossy Networks (LLN). Routing plays a vital role in it by minimizing the energy consumption across the networks through the efficient route selection for data transfer. IPv6 Routing Protocol for Low Power and Lossy Networks (RPL) is a IETF standardized IPv6 routing protocol for LLN. In this paper, we propose Energy and Load aware RPL (EL-RPL) protocol, which is an enhancement of RPL protocol. It uses a composite metric, calculated based on expected transmission count (ETX), Load and battery depletion index (BDI), for the route, selection. The COOJA simulator is used for performance evaluation. EL-RPL is compared with other similar protocols RER(BDI) RPL and fuzzy logic based RPL (OF-FL RPL). The simulation result shows that the EL-RPL improves the network lifetime by 8- 12% and packet delivery ratio 2-4%.

is given priority over non-real-time traffic in Cellular IP
networks. Bandwidth reservation is often applied to serve
such traffic in order to achieve better Quality of Service
(QoS). Evolutionary Algorithms are quite useful in
solving optimization problems of such nature. This paper
employs Genetic Algorithm (GA) for bandwidth
management in Cellular IP network. It compares the
performance of the model with another model used for
optimizing Connection Dropping Probability (CDP) using
Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Both models, GA
based and PSO based, try to minimize the Connection
Dropping Probability for real-time users in the network
by searching the free available bandwidth in the user’s
cell or in the neighbor cells and assigning it to the realtime
users. Alternatively, if the free bandwidth is not
available, the model borrows the bandwidth from nonreal
time-users and gives it to the real-time users.
Experimental results evaluate the performance of the GA
based model. The comparative study between both the
models indicates that GA based model has an edge over
the PSO based one.

Cloud computing makes the information technology industry boom. It is a great solution for businesses who want to save costs while ensuring the quality of service. One of the key issues that make cloud computing successful is the load balancing technique used in the load balancer to minimize time costs and optimize costs economically. This paper proposes an algorithm to enhance the processing time of tasks so that it can help improve the load balancing capacity on cloud computing. This algorithm, named as Improved Throttled Algorithm (ITA), is an improvement of Throttled Algorithm. The paper uses the Cloud Analyst tool to simulate. The selected algorithms are used to compare: Equally Load, Round Robin, Throttled and TMA. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm ITA has improved the processing time of tasks, time spent processing requests and reduced the cost of Datacenters compared to the selected popular algorithms as above. The improvement of ITA is because of selecting virtual machines in an index table that is available but in order of priority. It helps response times and processing times remain stable, limits the idling resources, and cloud costs are minimized compared to selected algorithms.
Design and development of handover simulator model in 5G cellular network IJECEIAES
In the modern era of technology, the high speed internet is the most important part of human life. The current available network is reckoned to be slow in speed and not be up to snuff for data transmission regarding business applications. The objective of handover mechanism is to reassign the current session handle by internet gadget. The globe needs the next generation high mobility and throughput performance based internet model. This research paper explains the proposed method of design and development for handover based 5G cellular network. In comparison to the traditional method, we propose to control the handovers between base-stations using a concentric method. The channel simulator is applied over the range of the frequencies from 500 MHz to 150 GHz and radio frequency for the 700 MHz bandwidth. The performance of the simulation system is calculated on the basis of handover preparation and completion time regarding base station as well as number of users. From this experiment we achieve the 7.08 ms handover preparation time and 9.98 ms handover completion time. The author recommended the minimum handover completion time, perform the high speed for 5G cellular networks.

Wireless networks are currently used in a wide range of healthcare, military, or environmental applications. Wireless networks contain many nodes and sensors that have many limitations, including limited power, limited processing, and narrow range. Therefore, determining the coordinates of the location of a node of the unknown location at a low cost and a limited treatment is one of the most important challenges facing this field. There are many meta-heuristic algorithms that help in identifying unknown nodes for some known nodes. In this manuscript, hybrid metaheuristic optimization algorithms such as grey wolf optimization and salp swarm algorithm are used to solve localization problem of internet of things (IoT) sensors. Several experiments are conducted on every meta-heuristic optimization algorithm to compare them with the proposed method. The proposed algorithm achieved high accuracy with low error rate (0.001) and low power consumption.

a Latency EQualization (LEQ) service, which equalizes
the perceived latency for all clients participating in an
interactive network application. To effectively implement
the proposed LEQ service, network support is essential.
The LEQ architecture uses a few routers in the network as
hubs to redirect packets of interactive applications along
paths with similar end-to-end delay. We first formulate
the hub selection problem, prove its NP-hardness, and
provide a greedy algorithm to solve it. Through extensive
simulations, we show that our LEQ architecture
significantly reduces delay difference under different
optimization criteria that allow or do not allow
compromising the per-user end-to-end delay. Our LEQ
service is incrementally deployable in today’s networks,
requiring just software modifications to edge routers.

CNF utilizes the existing NetFlow architecture that

and last timestamps per flow, and it proposes hash-based
sampling to ensure that two adjacent routers record the
same flows. We devise a novel Multiflow estimator that
approximates the intermediate delay samples from other
background flows to significantly improve the per-flow
latency estimates compared to the naïve estimator that
7. only uses actual flow samples. In our experiments using
real backbone traces and realistic delay models, we show
that the Multiflow estimator is accurate with a median
relative error of less than 20% for flows of size greater
than 100 packets. We also show that Multiflow estimator
performs two to three times better than a prior approach
based on trajectory sampling at an equivalent packet
sampling rate.
