Elliptic Curve for Secure Group Key Management in Distributed Networkijceronline
Group communication emphasis an important security criterion in the design of a distributed network. All the members of the group must agree to a common session key. The management of this session key refers to the group key management which is based on some group key agreement protocol. In this paper we propose a group key management method for secure group communication in a distributed network. Frequent change in group membership, and managing the key distribution for new members are the two main problems to be faced in group communication that too with minimal computation and communication overhead. Our system uses the concept of Elliptic curve Cryptography that provide same level of security as that of other cryptosysytems with reduced key size. This results in less re-keying and re-distribution operations, thus reducing computation and communication overheads respectively

SECURING BGP BY HANDLING DYNAMIC NETWORK BEHAVIOR AND UNBALANCED DATASETSIJCNCJournal
The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) provides crucial routing information for the Internet infrastructure. A problem with abnormal routing behavior affects the stability and connectivity of the global Internet. The biggest hurdles in detecting BGP attacks are extremely unbalanced data set category distribution and the dynamic nature of the network. This unbalanced class distribution and dynamic nature of the network results in the classifier's inferior performance. In this paper we proposed an efficient approach to properly managing these problems, the proposed approach tackles the unbalanced classification of datasets by turning the problem of binary classification into a problem of multiclass classification. This is achieved by splitting the majority-class samples evenly into multiple segments using Affinity Propagation, where the number of segments is chosen so that the number of samples in any segment closely matches the minority-class samples. Such sections of the dataset together with the minor class are then viewed as different classes and used to train the Extreme Learning Machine (ELM). The RIPE and BCNET datasets are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed technique. When no feature selection is used, the proposed technique improves the F1 score by 1.9% compared to state-of-the-art techniques. With the Fischer feature selection algorithm, the proposed algorithm achieved the highest F1 score of 76.3%, which was a 1.7% improvement over the compared ones. Additionally, the MIQ feature selection technique improves the accuracy by 3.5%. For the BCNET dataset, the proposed technique improves the F1 score by 1.8% for the Fisher feature selection technique. The experimental findings support the substantial improvement in performance from previous approaches by the new technique.

The document proposes an Efficient Distributed Trust Model (EDTM) for wireless sensor networks. EDTM selectively calculates direct and recommendation trust based on the number of packets received by sensor nodes. It considers communication trust, energy trust and data trust when calculating direct trust. EDTM also defines trust reliability and familiarity to improve the accuracy of recommendation trust. Simulation results show that EDTM outperforms other similar trust models like NBBTE in evaluating sensor node trustworthiness and preventing security breaches more effectively. The document provides contact information for Logic Mind Technologies in Bangalore, India to discuss further details about implementing the proposed EDTM model.

A Crypto-System with Embedded Error Control for Secure and Reliable Communica...CSCJournals
In this paper we propose a novel Crypto-System with Embedded Error Control (CSEEC). The system supports data security and reliability using forward error correction codes (FEC). Security is provided through the use of a new symmetric encryption algorithm, while reliability is provided through the support of FEC codes. The system also supports joint security and reliability in which encryption and encoding are performed in a single step. The system aims at speeding up the encryption and encoding operations and reduces the hardware dedicated to each of these operations. In addition, the proposed system allows users to achieve secure and reliable communication in which they can alternate between a priority onsecurity and reliabilityand scale their choice to the desired level in order to attain communication quality and fulfill application needs. The system targets resource constrained nodes such as remote sensor nodes operating in noisy environments.
secure data retrieval for decentralized disruption-tolerant military networksswathi78
The document proposes a secure data retrieval scheme using ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE) for decentralized disruption-tolerant military networks. Existing CP-ABE schemes have challenges including attribute revocation, key escrow, and coordination of attributes from different authorities. The proposed scheme addresses these by enabling immediate attribute revocation, defining access policies over attributes from multiple authorities, and resolving the key escrow problem through an escrow-free key issuing protocol. This allows encryptors to define access policies and securely share encrypted data in disruption-tolerant military networks.
A Survey on Privacy-Preserving Data Aggregation Without Secure ChannelIRJET Journal
This document summarizes a research paper on privacy-preserving data aggregation without a secure channel. It discusses two models for aggregating private data from multiple participants: one with an external aggregator and one where participants calculate the aggregation jointly. The paper proposes protocols for the aggregator or participants to calculate the sum and product of the private data in a way that preserves the privacy of each participant's data, without requiring secure pairwise channels between participants. The protocols are based on the computational hardness of solving certain cryptographic problems like the discrete logarithm problem.

DTN technologies allow wireless devices carried by soldiers to communicate and access information reliably using external storage nodes. CP-ABE provides scalable encryption such that encryptors define the attributes needed for decryption, allowing different access policies. The proposed system uses CP-ABE for secure data retrieval in decentralized DTNs, resolving key escrow problems by having multiple independent key authorities manage attributes. Fine-grained key revocation is enabled for each attribute group. This mechanism securely and efficiently manages confidential data distribution in disruption-tolerant military networks.
A lightweight secure scheme for detecting provenance forgery and packet drop ...Pvrtechnologies Nellore
This document proposes a lightweight scheme for securely transmitting provenance (data history) in wireless sensor networks to detect packet forgery and loss attacks. It introduces an in-packet Bloom filter technique to encode provenance within each data packet in an efficient way. As sensor nodes forward packets, they embed their node IDs into the Bloom filter to record the forwarding path. The base station can then extract and verify the provenance from the Bloom filter to identify compromised or malicious nodes that drop packets. The scheme aims to securely transmit provenance using only low-cost operations like hash functions and message authentication codes, while previous solutions used intensive cryptography. It is evaluated analytically and experimentally to prove its effectiveness and efficiency.
Efficient Data Mining Of Association Rules in Horizontally Distributed Databasesijircee
This document proposes a protocol to securely mine association rules from horizontally distributed databases in a privacy-preserving manner. The key aspects of the protocol are:
1) It uses a novel secure multi-party protocol to compute the union of private subsets held by different players, improving on prior work by avoiding commutative encryption and oblivious transfer.
2) It includes a protocol to test if an element held by one player is contained within a private subset held by another player.
3) Experimental results show the protocol has significantly lower communication and computation costs than prior work, while still protecting individual player's privacy beyond just the final mining results.
Refining data security in infrastructurenetworks support of multipath routingeSAT Journals
Abstract An infrastructure network is a self-organizing network with help of Access Point (AP) of wireless links connecting nodes to another. The nodes can communicate without an ad hoc. They form an uninformed topology(BSS/ESS), where the nodes play the role of routers and are free to move randomly. Infrastructure networks proved their efficiency being used in different fields but they are highly vulnerable to security attacks and dealing with this is one of the main challenges of these networks at present. In recent times some clarification are proposed to provide authentication, confidentiality, availability, secure routing and intrusion avoidance in infrastructure networks. Implementing security in such dynamically changing networks is a hard task. Infrastructure network characteristics should be taken into consideration to be clever to design efficient solutions. Here we spotlight on civilizing the flow transmission privacy in infrastructure networks based on multipath routing. Certainly, we take benefit of the being of multiple paths between nodes in an infrastructure network to increase the confidentiality robustness of transmitted data with the help of Access Point. In our approach the original message to secure is split into shares through access point that are encrypted and combined then transmitted along different disjointed existing paths between sender and receiver. Even if an intruderachieve something to get one or more transmitted distribute the likelihood that the unique message will be reconstituted is very squat.

This document discusses anonymizing social networks that are centralized and distributed. It presents two variants of an anonymization algorithm called sequential clustering (Sq) that can anonymize a centralized social network without revealing links between nodes controlled by different data holders. The algorithms significantly outperform the leading SaNGreeA algorithm. Secure distributed versions of the algorithms are also developed to anonymize distributed social networks. This is presented as the first study into privacy preservation for distributed social networks.

PUBLIC INTEGRIYT AUDITING FOR SHARED DYNAMIC DATA STORAGE UNDER ONTIME GENERA...paperpublications3
Abstract: Nowadays verifying the result of the remote computation plays a crucial role in addressing in issue of trust. The outsourced data collection comes for multiple data sources to diagnose the originator of errors by allotting each data sources a unique secrete key which requires the inner product conformation to be performed under any two parties different keys. The proposed methods outperform AISM technique to minimize the running time. The multi-key setting is given different secrete keys, multiple data sources can be upload their data streams along with their respective verifiable homomorphic tag. The AISM consist of three novel join techniques depending on the ADS availability: (i) Authenticated Indexed Sort Merge Join (AISM), which utilizes a single ADS on the join attribute, (ii) Authenticated Index Merge Join (AIM) that requires an ADS (on the join attribute) for both relations, and (iii) Authenticated Sort Merge Join (ASM), which does not rely on any ADS. The client should allow choosing any portion in the data streams for queries. The communication between the client and server is independent of input size. The inner product evaluation can be performed by any two sources and the result can be verified by using the particular tag.

The document proposes an algorithm for anonymous ID assignment using a central authority. It allows multiple parties to securely share data without revealing identities. The algorithm works as follows:
1) A central authority assigns each node a unique anonymous ID number ranging from 1 to N.
2) Nodes can then securely share data through a shared database using their anonymous ID instead of private identification details.
3) The algorithm enhances existing secure multiparty computation methods by allowing more complex data to be anonymously shared between nodes.

The protocol allows networks to self-configure and share secure services without infrastructure by distributing the certification authority and network management between trusted users. It applies asymmetric cryptography for device identification and symmetric cryptography to exchange session keys, providing authentication without anonymity. The paper details the network creation stages and protocol operation, and compares it to other ad hoc network protocols.
The document proposes an algorithm for confidential multiparty computation with anonymous ID assignment using a central authority. It uses an anonymous ID assignment technique iteratively to assign nodes IDs from 1 to N with help from a central authority. This enhances secure sharing of complex data. The secure sum algorithm is used in each iteration of the anonymous ID assignment algorithm to anonymously share simple integer data. The algorithm assigns unique anonymous IDs to nodes so they can securely share data and keep private data private.

A group key generation algorithm investigates group secret key generation problems for
different types of wireless networks, by exploiting physical layer characteristics of wireless channels. A
new group key generation strategy with low complexity is proposed, which combines the wellestablished
point-to-point pair wise key generation technique, the multisegment scheme, and the onetime
pad. In particular, this group key generation process is studied for three types of communication
networks: 1) A three-node network; 2) A multi node ring network; and 3) A multi node mesh network.
Three group key generation algorithms are developed for these communication networks, respectively.
The analysis8 shows that the first two algorithms yield optimal group key rates, whereas the third
algorithm achieves the optimal multiplexing gain. Next, for the first two types of networks, we address
the time allocation problem in the channel estimation step to maximize the group key rates. This nonconvex
max – min time allocation problem is first reformulated into a series of geometric programming,
and then, a single-condensation method based iterative algorithm is proposed. Numerical results are also
provided to validate the performance of the proposed key generation algorithms and the time allocation
algorithm.
COST-EFFECTIVE AUTHENTIC AND ANONYMOUS DATA SHARING WITH FORWARD SECURITYNexgen Technology
This document discusses cost-effective and anonymous data sharing using forward secure identity-based ring signatures. It proposes a new notion of forward secure ID-based ring signatures that allow ID-based ring signature schemes to provide forward security. This is the first scheme to provide this feature for ring signatures in an ID-based setting. The scheme provides unconditional anonymity and can be proven to be forward-securely unforgeable in the random oracle model under the RSA assumption. It is efficient, requiring only one exponentiation for key updates and no pairings. This scheme enables authentic and anonymous data sharing in large-scale systems like smart grids.

SYMMETRIC-KEY BASED PRIVACYPRESERVING SCHEME FOR MINING SUPPORT COUNTSacijjournal
In this paper we study the problem of mining support counts using symmetric-key crypto which is more
efficient than previous work. Consider a scenario that each user has an option (like or unlike) of the
specified product, and a third party wants to obtain the popularity of this product. We design a much more
efficient privacy-preserving scheme for users to prevent the loss of the personal interests. Unlike most
previous works, we do not use any exponential or modular algorithms, but we provide a symmetric-key
based method which can also protect the information. Specifically, our protocol uses a third party that
generates a number of matrixes as each user’s key. Then user uses these key to encrypt their data which is
more efficient to obtain the support counts of a given pattern.
Analytical Study On Artificial Neural NetworkKristen Carter
This document analyzes the use of artificial neural networks in cryptography. It discusses how neural networks can be used for secret key exchange and encryption. Specifically, it examines how synchronizing two neural networks through mutual learning can generate a secret key that is then used to encrypt and decrypt messages. The document also reviews various soft computing techniques like fuzzy logic that can be integrated with neural networks for cryptography applications. It concludes that artificial neural networks have potential for building more secure and effective cryptographic systems by overcoming some of the drawbacks of traditional approaches.
Efficient Secure Multi-Neuron Attack Defensive and Routing Security Technique...IRJET Journal
This document proposes a new secure routing technique for wireless mesh networks using unmanned aerial vehicles. The technique uses encryption algorithms like Data Encryption Standard and neural networks to establish a secure routing algorithm. It generates unique IDs for nodes, uses a key distribution center for authentication, and implements encryption to prevent attacks. Simulation results show the proposed approach reduces delay and improves packet delivery rate compared to existing routing protocols like PASER when there is frame error.
Online stream mining approach for clustering network trafficeSAT Journals
Abstract A large number of research have been proposed on intrusion detection system, which leads to the implementation of agent based intelligent IDS (IIDS), Non – intelligent IDS (NIDS), signature based IDS etc. While building such IDS models, learning algorithms from flow of network traffic plays crucial role in accuracy of IDS systems. The proposed work focuses on implementing the novel method to cluster network traffic which eliminates the limitations in existing online clustering algorithms and prove the robustness and accuracy over large stream of network traffic arriving at extremely high rate. We compare the existing algorithm with novel methods to analyse the accuracy and complexity. Key aggregate searchable encryption (kase) for group data sharing via cloud s...Pvrtechnologies Nellore
This document describes a proposed cryptosystem for secure and efficient data sharing in cloud storage. It allows a user to encrypt files with different public keys but send a receiver a single constant-size decryption key that gives decryption rights to any set of ciphertexts. This allows flexible sharing of encrypted data while keeping decryption keys compact. The proposed system aims to address disadvantages of existing approaches like unexpected privilege escalation exposing all data or inefficient key sizes. It provides security based on number-theoretic assumptions without relying on servers for access control.
secure multi-owner data sharing for dynamic groupsSuchithra Balan
The document presents a secure data sharing scheme for dynamic groups in cloud computing. The scheme leverages group signature and dynamic broadcast encryption techniques to allow cloud users to anonymously share data with others in a group while preserving identity privacy from an untrusted cloud. It aims to securely support data sharing in dynamic groups where attributes are not fixed and multiple owners are possible. The scheme's storage overhead and encryption costs are independent of the number of revoked users.
IRJET- Data Security in Network Flow using Obfuscation TechniqueIRJET Journal
This document proposes an obfuscation technique for securing sensitive data in network flows. It involves creating fingerprints based on system details like OS, RAM and IP address. Hosts are grouped based on similar fingerprints and the IP addresses are obfuscated. An algorithm uses SHA3 to prove confidentiality guarantees when releasing the network flows incrementally. The technique partitions large datasets and runs obfuscation independently on subsets to reduce computational costs compared to a single release. Formal analysis and experiments show the approach preserves data quality while protecting confidential information.

JAVA 2013 IEEE NETWORKSECURITY PROJECT Privacy preserving data sharing with anonymous id assignment
1. Privacy Preserving Data Sharing With Anonymous ID Assignment
ABSTRACT:
An algorithm for anonymous sharing of private data among parties is developed. This technique
is used iteratively to assign these nodes ID numbers ranging from 1 to N. This assignment is
anonymous in that the identities received are unknown to the other members of the group.
Resistance to collusion among other members is verified in an information theoretic sense when
private communication channels are used. This assignment of serial numbers allows more
complex data to be shared and has applications to other problems in privacy preserving data
mining, collision avoidance in communications and distributed database access. The required
computations are distributed without using a trusted central authority. Existing and new
algorithms for assigning anonymous IDs are examined with respect to trade-offs between
communication and computational requirements. The new algorithms are built on top of a
secure sum data mining operation using Newton’s identities and Sturm’s theorem. An algorithm
for distributed solution of certain polynomials over finite fields enhances the scalability of the
algorithms. Markov chain representations are used to find statistics on the number of iterations
required, and computer algebra gives closed form results for the completion rates.

2. EXISTING SYSTEM:
A secure computation function widely used in the literature is secure sum that allows parties to
compute the sum of their individual inputs without disclosing the inputs to one another. This
function is popular in data mining applications and also helps characterize the complexities of
the secure multiparty computation.
DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING SYSTEM:
The algorithms for mental poker are more complex and utilize cryptographic methods as players
must, in general, be able to prove that they held the winning hand. Throughout this paper, we
assume that the participants are semi-honest, also known as passive or honest-but-curious, and
execute their required protocols faithfully. Given a semi-honest, reliable, and trusted third party,
a permutation can also be created using an anonymous routing protocol.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
This work deals with efficient algorithms for assigning identifiers (IDs) to the nodes of a
network in such a way that the IDs are anonymous using a distributed computation with no
central authority. Given N nodes, this assignment is essentially a permutation of the integers
{1,…..N} with each ID being known only to the node to which it is assigned. Our main
algorithm is based on a method for anonymously sharing simple data and results in methods for
efficient sharing of complex data.
Despite the differences cited, the reader should consult and consider the alternative algorithms
mentioned above before implementing the algorithms in this paper. This paper builds an
algorithm for sharing simple integer data on top of secure sum. The sharing algorithm will be
used at each iteration of the algorithm for anonymous ID assignment (AIDA). This AIDA
algorithm, and the variants that we discuss, can require a variable and unbounded number of
iterations.
3. The work reported in this paper further explores the connection between sharing secrets in an
anonymous manner, distributed secure multiparty computation and anonymous ID assignment.
The use of the term “anonymous” here differs from its meaning in research dealing with
symmetry breaking and leader election in anonymous networks. Our network is not anonymous
and the participants are identifiable in that they are known to and can be addressed by the
others. Methods for assigning and using sets of pseudonyms have been developed for
anonymous communication in mobile networks. The methods developed in these works
generally require a trusted administrator, as written, and their end products generally differ from
ours in form and/or in statistical properties.
ADVANTAGES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM:
Increasing a parameter in the algorithm will reduce the number of expected rounds. However,
our central algorithm requires solving a polynomial with coefficients taken from a finite field of
integers modulo a prime. That task restricts the level to which can be practically raised. We
show in detail how to obtain the average number of required rounds, and in the Appendix detail
a method for solving the polynomial, which can be distributed among the participants.
