Latin America's Wars of the 19th CenturyTerritoryAs some nations became free from their former mother countries in Europe many Native Americans were forced to live in less livable  areas. This caused many of the Native Americans wanted better land this caused riffs with neighboring nations and communities.
The state of Texas is a great example of Territory being a cause of war. The citizens of the country of Texas had once been the citizens of Mexico , but fought for their independence and received it. Their big problem however came from the fact that many Americans wanted to expand west and Texas was seen as a major win for the U.S.A. . With this  Texas became a battleground when the U.S. and Mexico fought. In the end Mexico would be paid by the U.S. and the United States would receive land from Texas, California and would soon conquer the west.Latin America's Wars of the 19th CenturyIndependenceLike the United States of America, many Latin American citizens were treated horribly compared to their counterparts in the mother countries. They were heavily taxed and everything that they did was for the benefit of their mother country.
The citizens of Latin America also had to face racism in their homelands. Europeans and Americans living in Latin America were never held to the same standard that the natives were. Often the darker your skin was the worse you were treated. For example those of African heritage were often taxed more. This led the leaders of these politically dangerous countries to ask for money from American and European investors, these investor often asked for high fees to exploit the fact that the countries were economically dangerous.
When the fees couldn’t be paid or a country couldn’t meet their dues the investors would bring military actions from their countries to help, which would often lead the more advanced nation to have influence in in the nationThe Second WorldMexicoIn 1994, The Northern American Free Trade Agreement was designed in order to bring Mexico into the first world with the help of the United States.
On the day it went into effect the Zapatista National Liberation Army began to rebel to show the “plight of farmers”.
