Jack the Ripper was a serial killer who murdered five prostitutes in Whitechapel, London in 1888. The murders remain unsolved. Suspects included Polish immigrants Seweryn Antonowicz Kłosowski and Aaron Kosminski. Between each murder, Jack the Ripper taunted police with letters about how close they were to catching him. The five victims were Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes, and Mary Jane Kelly, who were all killed by throat cutting near Whitechapel Cathedral.

 She was found about 150 yards from
Whitechapel Cathedral.

 2nd Victim of Murder.
 Died September 8th, 1888. 5:00 A.M
 Found in the back yard of resident.

6. Elizabeth "Long Liz"
Stride
 3rd Victim of Mr. Jack
 Died September 30th, 1888 12:45 A.M
 Murdered 3 blocks from a Pub.

7. Catherine (Kate) Eddowes
 4th Victim of Le Ripper
 Killed September 30th, 1888 1:30 A.M
 Killed 2 blocks from “Long Liz”

8. Mary Jane Kelly
 5th Victim of the Whitechapel Murderer
 Killed November 9th 1888 at 2:00 A.M
 Found in her hotel room.

9. Letters
 Between each murder Jack wrote the
police taunting them on how off they
were on the trail of his arrest.
 The letters were found untraceable to
the point of origin.
 Was kind of insulting really, taunting the
police like that.
